Beck has no real beliefs or convictions. He just says shit to get attention. After all, he is a self-professed "rodeo clown" and a Mormon convert (which calls into question his ability to think critically....or at all, for that matter). He has broad appeal because he spews a whole array of different things, with no regard to how they contradict things he's already said. The guy's a comedian; unfortunately, some people believe him, and that's really sad.
