  • Wow you suck at this game.

  • HANDS DOWN @ 2:03 and 3:10 are the best parts of the game

i cant believe games like these are buried

  • This brings up an appetite almost as much as it brings back memory's. :p

  • The Library was the best level in this game with the best music (on the library section) by far and is still one of my favourtie BGM in any game :)

Classic, however, this level was better if yo played it with donald as you got to gointo a book and play a ye olde town level and the library BGM played through that too :)

thanks for uploading, but could you do Donalds version of this level too? :D

  • The use to love the bottle part, but you didn't get it if you were playing co-op f I don't recall bad.

  • Awwwww, I soooooo remember this game and I miss it soooo darn much! Thanks! This game was truly the best! I spent hours of fun playing this game.

  • Far more epic than Epic Mickey. ;-)

  • it's sad playing this game now, since it's only about 15-20 minutes long.. it seemed like such a big epic adventure as a kid...

  • You do know that if you jump back in the cookie box after defeating the boss you get a Top Hat, right?

  • who could dislike this??

  • Haha my favourite level as well. Fucking brilliant game. Makes me want to go dust off the old megadrive

  • Great game! You suck though, I was better at it than you when I was 7 =D

  • 0:23 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! XD

  • "WOW!!!!" =]

  • oh wicked, i've got this game on my Sega Mega Drive. I got every single game fer my Sega :)

  • DUDE EPIC!

  • You call it the "Genesis" yet you use the British spelling of "favourite". What the hell?

  • definitely one of the best co-op games made for Genesis! ^_^

  • @SamuraiYattaro yeah, right next to Golden Axe, Streets of Rage 2, and Gunstar Heroes! great game. also, it doesn't matter how well you play this game, as long as your having fun.

  • ALAKAZAM!!!

  • My favorite part is the Christmas tree stage?

  • I LOVE THIS LEVEL

  • 1:31 Hey! its the Retracting Penus :D

  • man this game was the game I played and enjoyed that so much , and its mickey , many people think its silly, but I can say that even mickey under the right hands make some good stuff

  • the bit where you shoot off a bottle cork is one of my fav game moments ever. i used to play this with my brother all the time when we were younger. i remeber the shark boss lol didnt like him :P

  • love this game

  • Are you playing this on genesis or on a website? If your on a website I must know!

    xD

  • @CuteCharmander63 I guess he played it on an emulator. You can download sega fusion, its free and then you will find the rom of the game on a random site, its easy to find!

  • Used an emulator, yep ZebTV. Kega Fusion.

  • I love the library zone too!!! This game is amazing; my sister and I still have it on the Genesis. ^___^

  • this game had great music

  • My favorite level!

    :-)

  • played it like crazy when i was 4-5 years old...

hard to watch for me. :) brings up old memories. :)

  • the cookie jar level was always my favorite part. I remember thinking how amazing the graphics were then, and I still think so now.

  • the graphics look amazing for a genesis.

  • the xmas level is my favorite

this is the best mickey mouse game

    the other just sucks

  • That was pretty cool, I remember that I played this game alot with my big brother a long time ago when we rented this game. I think we rent it alot and had lots of fun with this game together.

  • they need to put this on virtual console

  • i loved this level! and i also loved one other with a xmas tree!!

  • STOP!!!

  • I can't remember if it was this game, but wasn't their enemies that looked like the cards from alice and wonderland?

  • yh woz this game, a level was based on alice in wonderland :)

  • i thionk the catapiller (the stoner one) is in the first level

    very first part

  • indeed best game ever i jused to borrow it from a friend but were can i ever find this game to play it again?? :(

  • ebay

  • I LOVE THIS GAME^^

  • wtf xD ommmggg I used to play this all day :D

  • i remember this! i think donald duck had a whole different story line if you played as him. & i remeber one of them had a level with candy or something in it right?

  • beeeeest game ever. hands down

  • while I find FF7,Halo and Starcraft a little better...your not overexaggrating a bit. This game with 2 player co-op was 10/10.

  • werd. i mean especially for the 90s, i give them kudos. you cant really compare some of the very advanced games of now to how they were back then.

  • omg you have captured the scene with all the cakes and sweets, that is my favourite part to of the game. I love it when Mickey is taken away on a champagne bottle xX.

P.S Thanks for uploading and where did you get this game? I wanna play it!

  • memories, i loveeeeeeeee this game, this is my favourite and Quackshot :)

  • Ah, this game... Ahhhhh... One of my best childhoood memories... *-*

  • omg!! this game was my childhood!

  • Ahhh the memories. So far only Kingdom Hearts has succeeded in making me feel a bit of what I felt when I used to play this game as a kid.

  • why does micky always look up?

  • YES YES YES!!!!! :D One of my most favourite childhood games and thhis was the best level with the best music! Still love this game/level/music to this day! :D Only difference was i played as Donald so you got to go through the book and the library music played for longer! :D

Well said! Great video! :D *****

  • i like the music. reminds me of being at a fair or circus

  • Those jumping blocks at 0:40 are just like the jumping brick blocks in Super Mario Bros. 3 where you are at the desert level.

  • Well observed! Never caught on to that until just now.

  • Reminds me of a similar level in Castle of Illusion.

  • this game is just awesome brings me back the good old days

  • Wow! The cork flying into space bit.. truly awesome. A classic moment form my childhood. Thank you so much for posting this. I class the 16 bit era and the N64 era as the finest in gaming

  • I have this game. To run, you press and hold the A button and a direction, to attack, you press B, and to jump, you press C. If I try running and jumping, it feels awkward because the run and jump buttons are too far away, and I have to put my hands in uncomfortable positions. Still, there are some beautiful moments in this game!

  • omfg i used to play this in 1999 when i was 5 i just recently got a megadrive and just bought the game. best game on sega. [or one of them]

  • 3:15-3:55 is a beautiful part :') ...

    * goosebumps *

How poetic were these games !

  • This game makes me so nostalgic. I used to play this game years ago with my sister. Good times.

  • Me too, it's so awesome.

  • It's the most enchanting game ever made really isn't it. No wonder it reminds nhlrangers of the wonderful Alice in Wonderland- it's not a pastiche of the best of Disney- it is the best of Disney.

  • i fucking love you for posting this!

  • I'm delighted to hear that!

  • one of my favorite games of all time. this level was INCREDIBLE. i just love that tune. overall, it has some of the best backgrounds and one of the best soundtracks EVER. i also LOVE the fact that gameplay changes for each character and also if you play co-op. i mean, just the fact that it had such a beautiful co-op system wowed me. last but not least, i LOVE the way the levels connect after you beat the bosses.

  • ah man i loved this game!!! it was so fun to play back in the day! well it still is. the shark used to scare me when your on the boat

  • I Used To Shit Myself At The Shark Bit Too.

I Hated It When They All Popped Out Of The Floor.

  • I loved the Giant's Den section, I would even prolong that part just to hear the music.

  • haha, WTF is the Magnificent, Marvelous, Mad Madame Mim doing in this game? (boss fight at 4:30)

  • Love this game. Does it remind anyone else of Alice in Wonderland?? For some reason, everytime I played this as a kid that's what it reminded me of... anyways, fantastic game.

  • Candyland!

  • I used to play this on co-op about 15 years ago! Class game, so much fun and very kid-friendly, although it's too easy to beat with two players working together. This was from when games had excitement and imagination.

  • I love the cookie level!

  • BESSST IN THE WORLD

  • I enjoyed this game as a kid and think it's well-designed... for children. Really people, it is FAR from the "greatest game of all time." I have a feeling that many people who still hold it in high regard only do so because it was the only game easy enough for them to beat.

  • I love the teamwork things you have too do in two player mode like pull each other up high parts with the rope etc i thought it was really good, although me and my brother always used to argue at which character we wanted to be because Donald always gets stuck when you crawl through the smaller areas and mickey had to pull him out :P

  • YES! Exact same with my cousin and I. The mine-cart level was a good two player level :P probably my favourite after the Christmas level :) Thanks for the comment.

  • Great game!

  • Too be honest. It was the littler less known games like this which make the Genesis superior to the SNES. Even though Sonic was the biggest reason.

  • wtf @ made2order555fruit...That's errrm, not nice...

  • Here's a list of my favourite Mega-Drive games (not in order):)

    1. QuackShot

    2. World of illusion

    3. James Pond 3

    4. Street Fighter 2

    5. The legend of Galahad

    6. Sonic 1

    7. Sonic 2

    8. Aladdin

    9. Golden Axe

  • Quackshot was brilliant!- I remember the chilli thing that made Donald go mad! -As was every other game on your list. I've never played The Legend of Galahad though. I'll definately have to give it a try. Thanks for the comment.

  • Ahh this game was great! My only gripe was that it was far too short. It just had such a magical feel to it that seems to be missing from so many games these days. I couldn't tell you my favourite level...too hard to choose! :o I love when you ride that bottle thing in the starry sky though, definitely one of the highlights! I'd love to see this on the Wii's Virtual Console.

  • Totally agree. There was definately something magical in this game. I think it was the imaginative levels... I mean other platformers stuck you in some cliche Overworld/Underworld type thing. In this game you were immersed in really well thought-out worlds that had alterior motives like the goldfish bowl and inside the sweetie jar and Christmas land! This game would be great on either Wii's Virtual Console or Xbox Live Arcade; it was/is so underated!

  • OMG! Bringing back memories!!!

  • The best game ever. And the bast part too. Thanks for sharing it!

    *cry*

  • these where awesome graphics Back in the day, some of the best on genesis Brilliant game.

  • OMG...the best game ever. on megardive with quackshot and talmit's adventure.

  • AWESOME!

  • i used 2 love this game

cheers 4 posting u are legend

  • exactly, that's why I'm also refurbishing my N64 :P

i play current games sure, but it took me until recently to realize that when a new console comes, that doesn't mean you're obligated to stop playing all your old games

and I do have a Wii, so I could download some of these games on the Virtual Console.. but there's just something about playing a game with its original cartridge on its original system that feels right

  • Oh, sorry to get your hopes up, but I meant I *wish* this would be on Xbox Live arcade with online co op.

But I am 18 too, and I agree, though the N64 is my favorite system. Today's games are cool, but games like this from back then have that certain genuine quality about them; they're not trying to be movies, have the best graphics ever, or rely on "mature" content to sell their game.. they're just genuinely fun, and that's what makes em classic

  • Oh I'm sorry I misread *how embarassing.* But funny you should say that I would regard the N64 as one of, if not my favourite system. It had too many good games (Lylat Wars, Zelda, Mario 64, Goldeneye)... aww to be 10 again.

  • They don't make em like they used to.

you hear old people say it about stuff you don't care about, but eventually it makes so much sense

I'm actually refurbishing my Genesis, and this is one of the main reasons I am. such a great game.

THIS GAME ON XBOX LIVE ARCADE PLEASE. World of Illusion + Online co op = Yes

  • Woaw thanks for the info. Does this mean it can be played 2 player online?

+That's great to hear about your Genesis. I'm 18 and since I first played these games nothing has in my opinion has topped them. They're just classics. The thing that annoys me are "graphics are everything" people that don't understand "GTA San Andreas is more nice hehehehe lol."

But thanks again for the great comment!

  • Really brilliant part of the game, and i agree that this is much superior to GTA san andreas because wher it had some much in it, the general gameplay of you walking around and shooting people still seem very clumsey and could do with some polishing

  • Perhaps the subtlety of this game is lost on a lot of people but it (and indeed many of the other Megadrive games) are some of the finest pieces of Disney entertainment ever produced. The music and graphics are beautiful.

  • I used to love this game when I was little! My brother got it for christmas when he was 8 and I was 4 lol I love it! xxx

  • I have it. This is much better. WHERE'S THE RETRO APPRECIATION!? :P

  • HAHAHAHA you need play GTA San Andreas is more nice hehehehe lol

  • Fuck San Andreas.
