Also the live performances during this period are just spectacular.His one and only live rendition of Caribbean Wind at the Warfield,San Franciso in November 1980 is without doubt the greatest in concert performance of his career. Not to mention all the great songs his Christian faith has either directly inspired or heavily influenced since Blind Willie Mctell,Jokerman,Man of Peace,Lord Protect my Child,When the Night Comes Falling.,Ring Them Bells,Shooting Star,Red River Shore,Ain't Talkin etc

By far, the most under-rated period of Bob Dylan's career. The music of this period is so powerful... Every Grain of Sand, Caribbean Wind, When He Returns, Grooms Still Waiting..,I Believe in You, Trouble in Mind, Saving Grace, City of Gold, Yonder Comes Sin, Property of Jesus etc etc. Dylan's outburst of creativity was so great at this time that some of the remarkable songs of this period have yet to be released.

My Lord.. I was saved out of the 60's with all it's excess.. Thank God for The Jesus MOVEMENT of the late 60's early 70's I went from addiction , in the pit.. Lifted up by the Holy Ghost taken up and blood washed, baprtized in fire and water and transfered into the kingdom of His light( Jesus).. I was a fan of Dylan from the beginning and was run over with Joy, unspeakable and full of Glory when He got a Grace touch and found Jesus.. Lord keep him and bless him prepare us for the next step.

Dylan recorded enough material during this tour for a live album, to be called "Solid Rock"--but Columbia refused to release it in 1981 because the sales of "Saved" were so low.

I think it would be great if Sony would release this now as part of the "Bootleg Series."
