@modelhorsecollector1 yes, quarter horses can do western, a horse can do whatever it is trained to do, a thoroughbred can be amazing a western and a quarter horse perfect for english, i haveseen it done

I did my second lesson in like 6ys on Tuesday. The lady said you gotta check ur girth. I was like okay, how bad could it be? After tacking up we put the horse in the stall for like 15min, then brung it out,put it's bridle on, AND checked the girth.... Well before it was tight at the 3rd hole... Now it was loose as hell! I was like holy shit, that's why you hotta check! Haha beautiful horse!!

Whoever told you that has no idea what they are talking about and are wrong. i am not trying to be mean, but if you think that just because they are a dressage horse that thier hoofs don't get trimmed, well you are wrong. @lilmissconverse96x Horses don't have anything called calves on their body. lolz. The horse is cow hocked however and his hoofs need to be trimmed. Being cow hocked is just a conformational inpurity and only matters in the show ring.
