@generationtim Um, have you ever seen Henrik passes? He might not have as many assists as Forsberg but he makes passes that are unbelievable. Forsberg was amazing too but he had quantity over quality while Sedin has quality over quantity.
@Faeiv Oh please, I've grown up watching both these players. Henrik sedin are not even close to having the pure talant Forsberg had. Forsberg could dominate games with his physicality, grit, determination and pure skill. If you really think Forsberg had quantity over quality then you know nothing about hockey.
Nice goal by Blake & what a pass by Forsberg but Hannan played like an idiot on that play! He should have received a slashing call if Blake had missed out!
tsn costantly disses and forgets forsberg ,{10 most skilled, what a joke } top ten innovative plays and it took an ex goalie to come out and say hes one of the best of all time, {mclennan}
@templetonbob lots of people including TSN when they made their top 10 inovative plays kopitar was given credit as the innovator I was thinking you know Forsberg's done this before right?
who was the first person to do the flip pass anyway? I just know it wasn't Kopitar
@m420carbine4 Agreed! Look what we have here. It's a forward passing ahead to a defenseman. How crazy is this? Great comment. We will miss guys like them.
Isn't that a two line pass ? I know that rule doesn't apply anymore but this is pretty old. It's still really great though
dalookythere 1 day ago
@dalookythere well the puck was over the red line before rob blake so.

That was an absolutely amazing play, but wasn't it a two line pass?
skinscapsbombers 1 week ago
@skinscapsbombers
No. When the pass i made Blake is in the same zone as Forsberg.
Skrangelben 1 week ago
@Skrangelben aha. Thanks for the assist. I obviously didn't think about that. I'd forgotten exactly what the rule was for the two line pass.

Who was responsible for making Steve Levy the announcer? He's a good analyst/sportscenter host but man he needs some work on his play by play

It’s super effective!

Forsberg used to play soccer as a kid, this looks like something that would happen on a soccer pitch.
drakesmithmarshall 2 months ago 3
@drakesmithmarshall agreed, i played both growing up. it's surprising how similar they are when it comes to spacing and movement.

@dieihateyou
...the only reason why I'd say no....is because they start out in the same zone......
other than that...i had the same thought so im a little confused
MuffinKaze 5 months ago
@MuffinKaze Yah, I'm not THAT familiar with hockey rules, but it seems odd
dieihateyou 5 months ago
@dieihateyou @MuffinKaze It was probably seen as a dumping play instead of a pass that ended up on blake's stick so they just didn't call it
patmac40 4 months ago
@dieihateyou @MuffinKaze actually looking at it again, blake was in line with forsberg when the pass was being made so that's why it wasn't 2 lines
