  • for some reason, i think this song is a sequel or something correlated to "appels + oranjes"

  • Quien escucha este album llega a una conclusion simple : el final de los Pumpkins. Lo de ahora es un salvavidas a la egolatria de Corgan. Aquellos cuatro eran los unicos SMASHING PUMPKINS, lo que sigue es relleno

  • This entire album is just so underrated. I honestly believe it's their best album.

  • Nothing will ever be released that beats the original lineup and siamese dream

  • Billy Corgan isn't the Smashing Pumpkins. Sorry...

  • sounds a lot like siouxsie and the banshees, actually

  • On the 10th of Jaunary 2011 a worldwide boycott of youtube will take place. Which means for one whole day no-one will visit youtube. We want VEVO (and other companies) and their f*cking ads OUT. Do your part sharing this comment on as many videos as possible and give this one a thumbs up!

  • thanks for load

  • Corgan may have done everything himself in the studio but you really have to see the original lineup live. Completely different from the present lineup. Just the vibe you got when Billy, James, D'Arcy, and Jimmy were together on stage was something else. Maybe its all just nostalgia but I can say that I miss the original pumpkins.

  • @iamyoyoyodude45 Yeah but it would be sad to see Darcy looking at billy like I hate this guy, James counting how many songs were left before he could go home, and Jimmy thinking I hate doing the same songs over and over again. I want to make my own music. Billy looking at all of them like Why do you hate me you would be a bunch of no bodies without me.

  • @nicholsjoshua15 Maybe, but you can't say that they're as good as they are now then they were back then

  • corgan the best soundtrak SPUN

  • His voice...!!!!!!!!

  • @MrDanavaro machina and adore worked fine with plenty of pumpkin classics without chamberlain.....zeitgeist didnt cut it without iha

  • WOW. this is CRAAAAZZZZY when youre high

  • @laxfanatic12064 wow. when im high i can barely spell on my keyboard but ok.

  • @LewisTaylorRules08 i must just have more practice

  • yes corgan does everything in da studio by himself saw BILLY CORGAN LIVE and it was awesome

  • i respect the original lineup, yes, i think i liked it a lot, but i think the new pumpkins had a good sound, as well.

  • Corgan records all of his albums by himself...he does all the instruments and writes all the music! He just hires ppl for playin his music live.

  • what the hell happened to Darcy?

  • @klr181979

    lives on a farm somewhere

    cant remember where though

theres a audio of her in 2009 talking about it

  • i remember listening to this song for the first time...for some reason this album was lost in the mix of albums i meant to listen to but never did...so when i got to iraq i found this song on my friends ipod and i had to listen to it everyday...this song is just great and very easy to just get away from everything...thanks for sharing this song man

  • @LordTepes1981 God bless you.. hope you still find solace

  • I love this song!! Great Memories. Fuck, I'm all depressed now!!! Shit!! LOL

  • Gives KnowThyself7

    a hug : )

  • this song is so beautiful. everytime i listen to it i just have to close my eyes and i'm instantly transported to my days on the hills as a child

  • Machina is such a good album, as is Adore.

  • @Jyett every album of the SP are great. Siemese dream, mellon collie .. even gish.

I can't even tell which one i like the most because there are so much great songs.

    I miss them!

  • Beautiful beautiful song....

    Percussion at it's best...

And NO....Smashing Pumpkins will never be the same without James, Darcy and Jimmy....

    Lets hope for the best!!!

  • amazing song... and I love rain so this song is kind of soothing... SP for life!

  • I love Smashing Pumpkins! Great song! Machina is underrated. Definitely not my favorite but it's good! My favorite still and will always go to Mellon Collie.

  • one of my fav from SP !!!

  • grr meant to hit thumbs up don't u hate when u hit the wrong one by mistake lol

  • why the hell was this song never released as a single...it's one of the greatest pumpkin songs ever...thanks so much for your video

  • Song should have been a single

  • Ich liebe diese CD.

    Das Lied ist wunderbar.

Und das cover und das Beiheft sind auch perfekt gestaltet :)

  • in my opinion i LOVE all of there songs, i mean theres maybe like one that i dislike, but i think adore is there best album, the songs have absolutley great meanings, and you no ,but overall they are great=]

  • Imbamorial, I just do not understand. Not trying to start an argument. Just different point of view. I extremely dislike it when people say that adore is Billy's best work. His first three albums with James, Jimmy, and D'arcy were raw and amazing rock albums. Though the music on these albums are good, they do not match his artistic quality on gish, siamese, and melon collie. Too much snynth, electronic material, and not enough instrumentulization

  • This album is truely amazing but i don't think it's the best they've done, my favorite is Adore, that album can bring every emotion into you head. :) now shh enjoy the listening :P

  • ohhh i love this song so much and it is also one of my favortie cds to. i really did like mellon collie alot to alot of good memorys to that cd the first time and only time i have fallen in love and also reminds me of my friend that past away 12 years ago now rip

  • My favourite SP song ever, and Machina is my favourite of their albums.

  • What a completely overwhelming song! Induces a mood in you that is indescribable...

From 2:47 to the end is TOTALLY EPIC

  • there wil never b music like this ever again- ever

  • @akumamenra damn Jonas Brothers

  • @akumamenra lol there were not the original SP members on this album..

  • @SexyWhiteMail This was the original lineup. Wretzky was replaced for the tour.

  • Maybe towards the end of this century, they will look at the end of the last century, and rediscover the magic; akumamenra

  • Im a massive smashing pumpkins fan, but unfortunately when I bought this album I was also playing a lot of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2, and used this as the soundtrack to it. Now, I have this sort of tic where all I can think of is manualing and grinding to this whole album, sigh.

  • hahahaha! i have that with alot of my early music favorites, like Korn and WoW haha.

  • when I listen to the machina, this song really comes as a chilling cool breeze after trashing everlasting gaze...kinda calmes things down after kicking start but still has similar feel to the rest of the album.that`s why I like machina so much, because of its mood and atmosphere (among other things)...

  • i think smashing pumpkins is really good at changing the mood with songs that y i love um so much

  • I wish James and Darcy would get back in the band, along with Jimmy. When one of the founding members of a band leaves after being there for so long the band starts to dwindle. I bet if they came back and put their minds to it they could come up with something to match or even go beyond Gish, Siamese Dream, or Mellon Collie.

  • I think people get hung up on the original lineup. But Corgan is the Smashing Pumpkins.

  • yep he even came up with the name before there was a band

  • @shiro182

    totally agree

  • @shiro182 james iha as well, the drummer and bassist i can live without

  • @shiro182 Corgan and CHAMBERLAIN

  • @shiro182 You are correct, Billy Corgan is the Smashing Pumpkins. I miss James Iha, but SP would be much worse if they tried to continue without Billy Corgan.

  • @gramofbenny Yay! glad you agree. He is the pumpkins all within himself. If you listen to The Future Embrace the sound is all his.

  • I love the drums in this song. x3

damnit; I want to learn it. I tried to play the drumline in a music store; the dude said he went deaf; I sucked so bad. xD

  • so powerfull!

  • Jimmy left the band. Billy must be difficult to work with....

  • You know, I do wonder what it is like to work with Billy; when I thought it was bad enough that James and D'arcy both left, now Jimmy's gone, too... the SPs are sure going to be different now, that's for sure...

  • Yea they're only releasing singles now no more albums. But Billy was annoyed by James but then again I really don't know who pissed off the other first.

  • I have only listen to Smashing Pumpkins for a little time now so i wonder who´s Billy? The Singer?

  • Yes, hes the lead singer. and yes, again, hes arrogant and self obsessed. it is true, his band members left because hes cocky and picky. just listen to the song, "marquis in spades" look up the lyrics...he mentions, "when i said you were no good, what i meant was i wish you could..." i think that is a reference to the things he has said to his band members.

  • Actually he is not just the singer he also plays the guitar. Not to mention he writes almost all the songs.

  • This songs is so energetic and happy...Love the title; and amazing song by the legendary Pumpkins.

  • 24 March 2009. Sadly, just read that Jimmy Chamberlien has left the Pumpkins. I always regarded him as a very powerful and innovative drummer.

  • That just made me really sad.

  • behold the vast machina deus...the machines of god reach into their desighn and be swallowed by their brilliance you will find that machina are what we are cold and lifeless yet filled with endless warmth by gods touch

  • nice song!

  • Hmmmm......reminds me of appels and oranjes (off adore) only not as good.

  • Thank you for uploading :-)

It's so a great song. In 2000 I bought my first car (Fiat Tipo) and I allways listen to that song when I doved my "new" car. If I heasr that song I allways remember the great Time as I was 18 :-)

  • this is a very strange album in comparison to the older smashing pumpkins material yet it keeps me listening because it really displays billy corgans dream pop influence. Though overal I think their older stuff is better but this album is really worth the listen in my opinion. I cant really say that I dislike any smashing pumpkins album in particular but I am still a little confused about what to think of their new album. To me it seems more like Billy and jimmy in a new band with the same name.

  • machina was a good album...I think it was really difficult to mix the grunge days with their style in later years and fans like me missed the old days

  • thanx a lot for posting this video...

I love this song... and I was searching for this since many months!!! good job!!!

  • How much does Chicago RULE????

  • omg I f'in love this song!

    It's soo beautiful!

    Thank you!

Oh and thank you youtube to mp3 converter.

Now I have the song to burn on a cd =)

  • meeeeeerrrrccciiiiii !!

  • beautiful song

  • Thank you very much, I love this song, everytime I found a copy, some greedy pack of capos would pull it. I would buy the album again, not in print.
