I think jack thought that Steve would be insecure and fly off the handle. Jack a
LOL at Mike's face @ 1:00 when he looks at Jack!
Sometimes I wonder if Jack's motives are two-fold:
1) He's trying to stir up trouble between Steve and Kayla. He's clearly still obsessed with his ex-wife.
2) He's trying to do what he thinks a good "brother" should do by warning Steve that something might be going on between Kayla and Mike.

Jack was still trying to cause trouble for Steve and Kayla. That guy had serious problems back then. I think he was still obsessed with Kayla even though she was married to Steve.
