Ok so im pretty young iv known how to cook for a while now but im exploring with new stuff. Me and my family (mom, dad and brother's) are tired of the same ol same ol and this recipe look awesome im looking forward to cooking it for dinner tonight :) thanks i will let you know how it came out, i love thats its inexpensive to cook the items u used are common in a household and prep and cooking time seem short :)
ok so i made this but i couldn't eat it cause of the tomato's anyway's my husband and daughter loved it but i sub the cut tomato's for italian crushed tomato's with the herbs in it and i added cumin and curry and all spice in it and garlic powder with the mixed season's my husband said he want's it morning lunch and dinner time lol oh and i used basmatci rice with a spicy yogurt and pita thanks so much your wonderful
I wonder how this would look and taste if instead of pouring tomato sauce on it you pour a premade mixture of olive oil, fresh (chopped) basil, rosemary and grated garlic, then baked it.
i made this over the weekend with lamb and it was great! my boyfriend hates tomatoes...are there any substitutions or any additions that would be great with this?
My dad made this dish for years calling it lebaneese meatloaf. Since I started cooking on my own I added my own twists (adding fresh mint, fresh parsley, ground cinnamon, and ground allspice to the meat, serving it with tabbouleh, pitas, and yogurt).
One of the best comfort meals I know. Easy to make, feeds a lot of people easily, and makes the entire house smell good. We had this the day after Christmas and even though my family is nervous around "strange" food they all enjoyed it.
I have always loved your videos and your recipes. It is so wonderful and refreshing to see such a lovely young lady as yourself married and loving cooking and homemaking instead of acting like a Sharmuta trying to be famous for nothing. I hope many young ladies will look at this for inspiration. That you can be a young wife educated and love your home and family. Mashallah my darling
OK I shall start this ball rolling. An excellent simple recipe which is unusual in my house. I will make this up to add to the variety. And since I am the first to comment I shall say, cause you know the compliments are coming, you have the most entrancing eyes.
Im making it now!!!

Do you add oil to the suneya so that the lahma and doesn't burn?
Jehandaisy 1 year ago
@Jehandaisy nope, the meat has enough fat that you don't need to add oil. Check out the written recipe on my site :)

@Jehandaisy nope you don't need to b/c the meat has fat in it so it does not stick to the pan :) the written recipe is on my site, check it out :)

Spice Mix in the recipe?
