I'm 47 years old and now live in Dallas, TX. At the age of 12 I was a paperboy in Rochester NY. I had become an Elvis fan in 1972 when I heard Burning Love. Elvis was coming to Rochester just the day after Syracuse and I desperately wanted to go. My parents said I couldn't go downtown by myself so I didn't attend. Elvis than came back to Rochester the day after my 13th birthday on May 25th 1977. Once again I missed the show. THE GREATEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!! Tom Taber

P.S. You're one of the few who filmed the excitement that took place every time Elvis entered the building and climbed the stage. Most begin when he's already up on the stage. Thanks for sharing this with us... Memories... (Glad you had that paper route!)

What if Elvis had beat the addiction, he would still be the biggest thing. Hey man some kids wanted to be JFK, George Washington. I wanted to be Elvis and later I find out how much pain my hero was in. Drugs suck man, but today the kids are hopefully in better shape. E would be so proud.

THank you. I was at the July 23, 1976 Louisville and Elvis wore this suit. I filmed it with sound on my brand new (THEN) super 8mm sound camera.
