Listening to Dennis's statement that Omar is a "lovely young man," I was reminded of Viktor Frankl's account in "Man's Search for Meaning" of his experiences in the Nazi concentration camps. He said "there were many saints made [in the camps.]" And, "those of us who came back know that the best of us did not come back [alive from the camps]."
