The rider needs to sit up coming into fences. If the horse stops or chips in a stride before the fence you'll go straight out the front door, handful of mane or not. Being that far forward before takeoff actually impedes the horses ability to get his front legs out the way, so prob something to think about. Also, 'sitting the horse up' a bit before the fence is probably a good idea, since coming in with the horses outline so drawn out is going to get you rails when you go higher, i'd bet.

she seems to loose her balence a bit coming away from the fences, however it's nice to see her stay up and out of the horses way during the jump. (:
