Your right she isn't really that tough on her own, but due to the fact the lighting on both the GBA and the game are rather dim, it was hard just to make out some of her attacks. It's a fun game, but if there's one thing that I'm happy for with the SP and DS, it's that the games just come out much more clear on those.

Try dodging the masses of purple bubbles when the lack of light(or crazy glare) prevents you from seeing them most of the time...

I didn't have the Serpent either, so that made it even worse for me

beat "Death" first. I had the same problem, I thought I was supposed to go through all that slimey crap.... the deaths I suffered were so awful :(.

Anyway, for this boss I recommend the Diana + Manticore combo. It's sometimes tedious to hit her with that, but a single well-placed hit with that poison ball does quite a bit of damage (it dealt 10dmg per poison hit, so around 70-80 dmg per time)

im having trouble on camilla 2... im on magician mode and lv 16 (i skipped death and the twin drag). LOL its 2 hard. If one of those little purple things hits me i die in 1 shot, even the black dog+pluto skeleton things big bone does about 700 to her which means i gotta hit her 3 times with it =(

A very cheap way to defeat her is to turn on the falcon familiar (Uranus + Golem, I believe), and, as soon as the fight starts, reach the platform in the center of the room, the highest. There, you just have to crouch and let your whip spin, blocking the button with something. The bubbles will explode thanks to the whip that completely surrounds you as a constant barrier, if you crouch. Carmilla will not touch you and you deal her damage either by the whip and the falcon. I beat her at level 22.

You know, you could just stand or crouch on the highest platform (2:22) and use poison cloud when spinning your whip to win without getting damage, but it takes about 30 minutes XD

Man, this game was freakin' fun. I definately hold it in high regards. Brings back memories, too. Camilla was tough, I'll give her that, but the final Dracula form in this game was the toughest I remember fighting out of all his forms in the series, or at least out of the Castlevaina games I'VE played thus far. I honestly could not could beat her, she was really damn tough. So I took the cheap way... I got up on a platform and got the electric spinning whip, and just started spinning the whip while crouching. She couldn't touch me and didnt take too long.

I don't know why, but Camilla always kicked my ass in this game, no matter my level. Maybe it was because I was so young then, or maybe it was because the FUCKING Game Boy Advance had no FUCKING backlights so I had to tilt it everywhere to see the fucking thing, and still couldn't see those nearly invisible bubblr things. I ended up having to sit with Salamander + Jupiter on spinning my whip for about half an hour to finally beat her. :P I'm serious.

Ugh. I always had a hard time beating her. Avoiding attacks wasn't my issue, I just couldn't see those freaking snot bubbles, unless I was looking at them very closely. I once actually managed to kill her as she was killing me at the same time...very weird.
