Intel is also working on this, this is going to revolutionize computers and all electronics. Everything is going to be way faster, and so much cooler (temp wise).

Hmmm, for what I've read it's just a high-speed bus solution (for the FSB and stuff) a 3ghz processor would be much faster if we had a higher memory/ops ratio, we can't make 3Ghz bus because of electromagnetic interference, so if we use light to get stuff from the chipset to the CPU we can get stuff at much higher frequency (I guess...)
