Some people are confused about 3000's Michael Jackson dis. He was not calling MJ a sell out in terms of his music. He was calling Jackson a sellout to his race. If you take it in the context of Andre's whole verse he refernces the civil rights struggle and also says "you can't forget where you come from". He was saying: MJ has forgotten he's black, through his surgeries MJ has sold out the young black kids who looked up to him and the people who fought for the rights of black people in America.

Probably because Michael signed a HUGE deal with Sony Records before he released Dangerous in 91 (like $45,000,000), and maybe Andre felt that his music lost its quality because he was trying to be commercial. Personally I really liked it and I think Michael was just being himself, but maybe Andre felt differently.
