  • Good luck against the French

  • the welsh national anthem is great, the best is Katherine Jenkins tits in a tight top

  • Your stupidity is summed up in 'what have they given us'. Why do you expect anyone to give you anything? Do you sit on your arses and expect that? Get off your arses and do something for yourselves or maybe deep down, you're happy about the income that you get from the English?

  • love the national anthem but why does your singer seem like shes drunk and her eye is twitching.

  • Live welsh, die welsh come on wales were a bollocks rubgy team but have the best singers that would fucking kill every other country in the world, we sing with our hearts not our bollocks in our mouths, get it right you english cunts

  • @TomisY0daddy ha not, the best thing to come from wales is tom jones, and i can count on one hand the better singers from england, get it right

  • All right, children, stop fighting and watch those potty mouths!

  • Respect from Canada and South Africa. Moving anthem!

  • @Sandler41882

Respect from Tajikstan and Paraguay. Moving anthem!

  • Its nice to see how many Englishmen have clearly never read a history book in their lives.

  • I'm a proud Englishman, but this anthem is the best in the British Isles, and up there with the best in the world

  • @peeobee Ummm were Wales even taken by the Romans after you English rolled over and died ..... NOPE !

  • @peeobee as an Irish man I think it's quite funny in how u think England is this dominant force over wales and Scotland. Don't forget how Ireland and the people decided to basically just to eradicate English people from the land so Ireland became a republic, and Ireland has a smaller population than scotland and look how we could just get our independence so don't forget if wales and Scotland wanted to they could copy Ireland and gain their own freedom from that evil inbred whorehouse of a nati

  • @leinsterman123 good one you my son!

  • @leinsterman123 nothing to do with the fact the world moves on and the england of the 1600's etc arent the england of the 1900's this is a modern world maybe one day you'll catch up and get with the times

  • @leinsterman123 fair enough but there's 3 million in wales, and around 11 million in scotland,, sorry i dont now the ROI population?

  • Rage against the machine

  • "Look what these bastards have done to Wales. They've taken our coal, our water, our steel. They buy our homes and only live in them for a fortnight every year. What have they given us? Absolutely nothing. We've been exploited, raped, controlled and punished by the English - and that's who you are playing this afternoon."

    Phil Bennet 1977

  • @bedz90 and look what the score was...another victory for your rulers!

  • @Barsider75 Really? As I recall this game England got raped in this game, 27-18 final score for your info XD

As for rulers, that term no longer applies to England, they are but mere greedy exploiters now. We in Wales are claiming our right to freedom now democratically, it's inevitable. You English could never do anything but slaughter and massacre to get what you wanted and now you'll be humiliated for the world to see...again

  • @bedz90 yh but wales would be nothing without england

  • Nice how it says "BRAINS BEER" among that gal's rack

  • Im argentine, and for me this anthem its the best of world, this song its land and heart.

Greetings for a great welsh people from Rawson and Trelew, Argentina, land of welsh people in my country.

  • Just as well Wales can sing because they can't play rugby

  • @Aussiephil99 For a country of 3 million I'd say we're pound-for-pound one of the best in the world.

  • @dimflamingo ....New Zealand has roughly the same population..........Wales last beat them in 1953.

  • @Aussiephil99 New Zealand piles a lot more money into the sport than Wales does, largely because they have a much larger GDP after the privatisation of our primary industries of 30 years ago. Also note that I said one of the best, not the best. No one is disputing that NZ are the greatest rugby nation in the world. Another thing that might be worth considering is that I personally have watched the humble Welsh team beat Australia and its 22m people twice in the last 5 years and win 2 grand slams.

  • @dimflamingo ............rugby is only the fourth most played winter sport in Aus....behind Aussie Rules, Rugby League and Soccer.

  • @Aussiephil99 I think we can. Stupid cunt

  • @pubicwashing tha!

  • @pubicwashing .............you haven't beaten the All Blacks since 1953....NZ has a similar population to Wales....and you think you can play rugby!!!

  • @Aussiephil99 LOL WHAT? So because we havn't beaten one team since a certain year then that means that we can't play rugby?

Seriously your way of thinking is astonishingly retarded.

"mighty australia" have lost 94 games out of a total of 138 games altogether against new zealand by the way so if i were you i wouldn't brag too much.

    Cheers.

  • @pubicwashing...Australia has won 2 world cups and got beaten in the final of another.........rugby union is the 4th ranked winter sport in Australia. Australia is a sporting superpower...............The Welsh sing and grow leeks!

  • @Aussiephil99 Is that it??? LOOK AT THE SIZE OF YOUR COUNTRY. THERE IS MORE PEOPLE IN SYDNEY THAN WALES ALONE YOU PLANK!

Australians talk with a stupid accent and surf waves on boards for fuck sake.

  • @pubicwashing....yawn yawn yawn.............go back to your slag heap and sing a hymn

  • @Aussiephil99 True hardman. Proper keyboard warrior. Real twat.

    That about sums you up.

  • @pubicwashing ....I was watching and playing rugby before you were a seed in your Dads beanbag.........comment on here when you know something about the game.

  • @Aussiephil99 LOL Hows that then? Im 23 you are 21. You are a little boy who hasn't grown pubes yet

  • @pubicwashing ....you can't read.........I'm 43

  • @Aussiephil99 Well yes i can because it said you were born in 1989 that makes you 21.

By the way im bigger than you in every department

  • @pubicwashing ...I don't get it!!!.......I'm 43. It says so on my profile

  • I am Welsh and proud. I think it is very important that we should protect our culture and our language. However, we are British too.

  • Does anyone know the name of that beautiful lady ?

  • @100cucimata Katherine Jenkins

  • the girl singing it is a stunner

  • To dretopshot you like ours but im welsh and i think the irish anthem is brilliant ,certainly makes the hairs stand up on my neck,

  • Yeh amhran na bhfiann is good but Irelands call is rubbish.

  • We Got thee best anthem come on wales xxx

  • Comment removed

  • I never said I loved the English. Besides, what language are you speaking?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm Irish and I have to say this is the best anthem there is. Makes the hair stand on the back of my neck. Katherine Jenkins is stunning too.

  • Bollocks to the Welsh language. I don't want to learn it and I never will. I am from Newport mind, and we don't give two shits about Welsh.

  • Comment removed

  • I am both english and welsh and I admit as a neutral that England didn't even play that well and neither did Wales. It was at twickenham so England got an advantage and the game still could have gone either way. If England and Wales play like this throughout the whole 6 nations then none of them will win so stop talking as if you played well you biased english people.

  • England 30 Wales 17

    hahahahahahaha

  • @CupidStunts100, up yours you ginger cunt

  • 15,000 people speak welsh?? dont talk absoulte drivel!!! 8 thousand people in the town i live speak it

  • And where is that? because according to the last cences only 15000 speak welsh as a first langage the rest never use it on a daily basis.

  • @powerspade 62% of welsh people speak welsh daily and there are 611,000 of us... Thats alot more than 15,000 my friend.

  • We bretons almost speak it as well.

  • every child who goes to school is taught how to speak welsh wales as always been a nation of belivers so we can speak what we belive but understand

  • Wrong! In the 2001 census 600,000 ppl described themselves as Welsh speakers, maybe half of which speak it properly and as their preferred language

  • FOOL.... completely WRONG!!!

  • Thanks. ;)

It's a pity. People should protect their language and culture.

  • A great anthem.. check out the first time Ireland played England in Croke Park, Amrahan na fhiann is unreal!!

  • jus over half a million not many!

  • Beautiful anthem.

I was just wondering: How many Welsh people use this language in everyday life nowadays?

  • not a lot mate - its a shame!! I use it day 2 day!

  • The Welsh national anthem has to be the BEST national anthem, just wish i knew the words!! I, personally have nothing gainst' the English ( except from the fact that it is because of them that most of Wales speaks english) but according to them wales is 'Dirty' this just proves that you have never been there!!!

  • the countrey side and veiws can conpare with anywhere in the world

  • Getting stupid opera singers to sing the national anthems kills the anthem everytime. It sounds SO SHIT!

  • England wouldnt be 1/10 of what it is today without wales, Grow up.

  • @stev1212 Doubtful. And I say that as a Welshman.

  • THAT WAS GOOD. Now do the one about the sheep with the nice arse!

  • Your so mature.

  • Thats a bit week mate, you wouldnt last in a scrum!

  • Did i say i would? stop making up arguments.

  • Still a bit week mate, I bet your from somewhere like Rhyl, Am I correct?

  • Yes i am, Its on my profile not hard to figure out.

  • dude wales is the oldest country in britiain the celts were here before the romans...

  • Wales is actually a seperate country..... we have our own Assembly..... The countries in the United Kingdom are all seperate countries but are just ruled be one monarch and government..... doesn't mean that they are not all seperate countries though!

  • Another fantasist Joel. Having an 'assembly' does not mean Wales is an independent country. We had assembly at school and we weren't! Your definition of country is of course up to you. Being united under one monarch and government, as you say, should give you the clue.

  • dude wales is acountry.... as is england, and scotland!

  • My friends in South Wales say North Wales is a separate country too! How far do you want to keep cutting the cake? My back garden is a country ok.

  • LOL!!!!! Wales and England are separate countries.

To say Wales(England) would be like saying,

    California(Texas) or perhaps USA(Canada),

and to British readers equally naive.

If you wish to point out the Wales is part

of Great Britain feel free, but for consistancey you should also say Texas(USA)

  • I never said Wales (england)! Americans do. Wales is actually, legally a principality of the English crown (I am afraid to say), and is legally treated as one entity with England. It is however part of the UK. Wales (UK) is quite correct as far as I am concerned. Wales, England, Scotland are medieval kingdoms that merged into one over 400 years ago. Why they are being resurrected now beats me.

  • Bring back th kingdoms of Wessex, Strathclyde and Mercia, why not?!

  • I see what you mean..... maybe we should both just stop talking about it because dude this could go on forever!

  • did you know that some parts af argentina speak welsh

  • Parts of northeastern patagonia I believe. Not sure how many people still speak it. Probably just the older generations now. But Alberto Griffiths is a fairly common name... :)

  • @Screwbiedooo Because only now do we want to govern our selves, the English parliament is too concerned for England and not very concerned fore else where in the uk

  • @radicalgoodspeed16

What a load of hogwash. There is no "english parliament"!!

  • @Screwbiedooo

Wales isnt "england" and has nothing to do with england you twat.

And no it isn't "legally of the english crown" you dickhead.

    Wales = CELTIC

    England = SAXON

    Cymru am byth.

  • @cymrugsi england=norman!!(french)

  • @Napoleon44221 Wrong! England - Anglo Saxon (german)

  • @pubicwashing doch doch idiot

  • @Napoleon44221 Go and read a book dick head.

  • @pubicwashing kein bock darauf

  • @Napoleon44221 Pen cock

  • @cymrugsi

You are a fantasist with a miniscule grip on history. Go and educate yourself and drop the expletives. It's the biggest give away of ignorance there is.

  • @Screwbiedooo Nope i think you will find that i am a realist and that im speaking the truth. I know a fair bit about the history of my country and that wales is not "legally of the english crown" and therefore a celtic nation.

By the way the biggest give away of ignorance is your retarded comment you just made, i have no idea why you think you should of replied in such a manner because you have just embarrassed yourself sir.

  • @Screwbiedooo FUCK YOU BITCH! dwi ddim yn gachwr saesneg!! CYMRU AM BYTH XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  • @Screwbiedooo So would you deny the English their own state, parliament etc just because the long complex history of these islands 'beats' you?

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    zuper!

  • 0:43 LMAO

  • you shit but u can sing a bit????

  • Gwlad Gwlad pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad!

  • ..Gwlad beirdd a chantorion...

Greetings from Italy, an other land of poets and shipmen

  • I'm french, and I went last year(2008) at the Millenium, and heard for the first time this anthem sang by welsh supporters. Trust me that it was a hundred times more powerful than any black metal gig I've been to. I still prefer my own anthem (I guess it's normal), but Mae hen wlad fy nhadau is still something very special, which reminds those who would have forgotten that Wales is really a country, not a county...

  • thats galway i feel the vibe off the irishs 2 ur playin amazin at the mo, its gonna b one hell of a match against u, nd anthem test, we love u x

  • votan1340....you really are pathetic

  • Good on you taffs! Next time sing the Welsh National Anthem. That will put it up em. like England did with swing low.

  • Mar cainteoir gaelach, feicim agus braithím an paisiún agus an féiniúlacht atá ag mhuintir an Bhreatain bhéag. Go n-eirí go gheall libh!

As a native Irish speaker, I see and feel the passion and idenity that welsh people have. Good luck to them.

  • Oi votan1340 just wanted to say WALES WILL NEVER BE ENGLAND, PART OF IT OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ENGLAND..... WALES IS A PROUD SEPERATE COUNTRY SO JOG ON!!!!!!!!!

  • @joelwhitaker Except for when it comes to reaching into the pockets of the taxpayers in the South East of England...

  • @quagmire1807 he he..........Ok so Wales is a cheeky little country on its own!

  • @joelwhitaker Wales is not a proud seperate country, it has to rely on London to run its schools and hospitals you fucking idiot. Maybe when Wales actually has money to fund Wales you can belt out your welsh nationalism you fucking chauvinist.

  • @James09854 because I have an opinion you insult me...what does that say about you then...everyone is entitled to an opinion.....and actually Wales is a seperate country as is scotland and england.....hence why there is a seperate national anthem for each...seperate sports teams....language etc.....they just so happen to rely on each other in a Union called the United Kingdom. And it is proud. Try not to be so rude to me next time when I am entitalled to an opinion just like everyone else. Peace

  • @joelwhitaker What are you talking about? Wales is basically a province of England imo, they never had the balls to fight like the scots for independence instead they just took it up the arse from the english. Wales will always be the forgotten "country" of the UK and rightly so imo.

  • @peeobee Wales is not a province of England....it is a provincial COUNTRY of the United Kingdom but it is still a country......and that was my point.....it doesn't matter that it is part of the UK it is still a country

  • @peeobee You really do not know history if you make such a statement.

  • @aguystudio ...that commetn was meant for "joelwhitaker, not you, peeobee. Sorry.

  • Comment removed

  • @peeobee Did you heard about Gruffydd ap Llywellyn, Gruffydd ap Cynan, Owain Gwynedd, Llywellyn Fawr, Llywellyn ap Gruffydd and Owain Glyndwr? Well my oppinion is read a little about Welsh history and than talk. The same for those who gived you finger ups too. :-/

  • @szalard Does Scotland have a Parliament? Yes

Does Wales? No. They were too busy taking it up the arse from the English when Scotland got their one.

  • @peeobee LIKE GARETH THOMAS!!!!

  • @peeobee Well, Scotland could have a parliament, but 21 % of Welsh still speak their Celtic language. How many Scots can speak Scotish Gaelic? 1,2 % of Scotlands population... Not too many... Welsh have their hymn in Welsh, they have their literature, music in their own language, what makes Scotland Scotish, if not the language and the culture? The fact that you try to show how Scotish or Irish you are by insulting Welshmen, doesnt make you more Scotish or Irish. Mutual respect will do...

  • @peeobee shut the fuck up

  • @szalard He is right about the forgotten country thing in the UK. Many foreign people would name all the countries in the UK and they would always seem to forget wales. They should be part of England. Makes more sense and then you's would not be forgotten! LOL

  • @clairemangono I think England is a buly state who conquered Wales, Scotland and Ireland and they did many bad things there. For example in Ireland they killed people just because they spoke Irish. This is why the Gaelic (one of the most beautiful languages in the world in my opinion) is almost extinct in Ireland. If English have some remorse for destroying so many Celtic cultures and languages and dialects in the islands, at least they have to give their freedom back to Wales and Scotland.

  • @peeobee we fought you all the way pal, we have more culture than you will ever have you german scumbag and this is comin from a non 'nationalist'.

  • @stegorm Dont get angry at me just because your "country" (or province as it should be referred to) is depressing and inbred. WALES IS THE FORGOTTON COUNTRY IN THE UK AND RIGHTLY SO IN MY OPINION.

  • @peeobee mate I'd love to have a shot at you, arrogant englishmen men like yourself create the unfortunate stereotype that your all pricks, which isn't (entirely) true ;)

  • @rhidiandavies1991 take that meat cigar out of your mouth and come to Blackpool and say that you faggot. Id bottle you before you'd even finish.

  • says the englishmen, who took it up the arse from the russians, french, german and liberated welsh in the 13 century

  • @peeobee And what are you talking about you buffoon. Read a fucking history book will you because it's clear you know absolutely nothing. Wales was sold up the river - ever heard of Bosworth Field, betrayed by Henry VII and shafted at every turn by the English. They also fought like hell - ever heard of Owain Glyndwr? There is more patriotic pride in Wales than you will find in a month of Sundays in England. The Welsh were here long before the English invader. Forgotten country my arse!

  • @peeobee - you are so funny. You are unfortunately the epitome of a stereotypical English ignoramus - which thankfully is a dying breed. I can't believe people still spout the outdated 'Wales is a Province' tripe............................... oh and a point for you to remember and take on board - I have travelled the world and never has anyone I have met not known where Wales is. So, if you are going to be prejudiced, please base your comments on facts, and not the murmerings of idiots.

  • @peeobee no, but we still have our language dont we? shut the fuck up you fucking cunt!

  • @peeobee screw you, you probable English prick go fuck yourself

  • @peeobee still got the language, so we didnt take it up the arse you fucking immigrant :)

  • @peeobee

We never fought for independence? Shows how much you know about our history, so please don't talk about things that you don't have a clue about. A line in the anthem - "Dros rhyddid collasant eu gwaed". It means "For freedom they shed their blood". Yes we fought many times for our freedom, unfortunately unlike the Scots we lost it.

  • We are all entitled to be proud of where we are from, it just so happens I have the privilege of being Welsh! :D

  • That comment just shows how arrogant u english are! U call that sarcasm? That was like a joke from Lee Evans told by Tony Blair!! It just doesnt work! This is the reaason why I dont leave in England, full of English scumbags like u... Wales Forever

  • Good or bad at least I can speak 4 languages, how many can u speak u arrogant little English bastard. Typic English cunt, all mouth but when confronted runs away... I would rather live in Wales anytime, than in ur daft country!

My advise is read a bit about ur history toat least find out that Wales aint an English county! :)

  • the welsh in song, always great.

    The Cardiff ladies, always charming.

  • There is no countrys in England! England is England, Wales, Scotland are diferent countrys! Im Portuguese but this anthem rocks!!

  • Wales is a country not a fucking county you ignorant prick! You got owned by the Portuguese lad. England is a country, Wales is a COUNTRY and Scottland is a country. They are all in United Kingdom (Which is not England before you say so lmao)

  • kin ell, cracking set of lungs on her ;)

  • even nicer set of lung warts ;)

  • Wow, Alun Wyn Jones was belting that out.

And Ian Gough and Chris Horsman with tears running.

  • when u sing this u just feel so proud to be welsh/!?!?!?!

  • lol congrats to deccorey for pointing out the worlds most boring song

  • swing low sweet cariot

nz beat you six years in a row

  • great anthem got to admit though it would be better without the singer

    from scotland

  • fucking hell!!the boys looked pumped up for that one lol roll on the six nations

  • Wales! Wales!

    Bloody big fishes are Wales!

    They swim in the sea

    We eat them for tea

Oh, Bloody big fishes are Wales

  • what's the name of the blond singer ?

  • Katherine Jenkins
