  • That's quite funny. All the while you were reading those lines I was thinking O_o and interchanging christian with atheist/jew/muslim in my head. I had thought for a second you'd lost it. Phew! But I guess my immediate reaction serves to illustrate the very disturbing point you're making.

  • not a fan of lists and boxes. to many boxes.great stuff though.

  • Great idea! After all, they all follow a book that illegally incites violence against minorities, races, homosexuals and calls for the enforced mutilation of children. I say we xxxx the fuckers and ban their hateful book.

  • way to dam sad and scary

  • I'll agree here, many christians believe that Moses also took dinosaurs with him on the Ark... ;) I'll gladly join anything to debunk this kind of shite.

  • Name and shame them.

  • good point! Christians should shut down bad ideas from within their clan. They should not sit by idle while dumb ideas are propagating bigotry. They should join you and denounce bad behaviour. It's pretty hard to disagree with your point here no matter what side of the fence you sit. Another nail in the coffin of religions.

  • You have to understand why christians attempt this kind of super controversial nonsensense. No one, absolutely no one, would take this kind of suggestion seriously.

Nut case christians like this are simply doing anything they can to divert the topic of debate away from the real issues confronting christianity in the modern world. Their beliefs simply don't stand up and cannot be sustained.

Their solution is to simply not talk about real issues and divert the debate with total rubbish.

  • I've never met a christian.

  • Looking forward to the Post_Christian and Post Religion era.

  • I went to the link that you put in the description...

Holy fuck. I see what you did thur, with this video...

That webpage is HUGELY offensive.. and it almost breaks my heart to find out that the majority of christians think that atheists are at the same level of sex offenders and ex felons...

"Let Him Who Is Without Sin Cast the First Stone"...

Makes me shake my head.. I'm just... wow.. I don't even.

Do they read their own fucking material? FFS...

  • @727phoenix thanks for the clarification...i thought he was saying that he and pastor mike lived in the same town, but he was just reading the post while substituting 'christians' for 'atheists'...i was excited to think a.a. had become a yank...if shit gets much worse here in the states, i may be tempted to become an aussie!

  • It's amusing that you mention a national registry for KKK members. The reality is that there's a law in the US called the "Klu Klux Clan Act', which does something rather different. Originally enacted to protect members of the NAACP from persecution from the KKK, it was written to protect members of "dissident political groups" from political opponents, so now it protects the KKK members from NAACP members.

  • I found the bit about the Pharaoh's heart humorous, because it was YHWH who hardened his heart in the first place.

A kindler, gentler Spanish inquisition... Isn't the Pastor kind?

What sickens me is that people who do these outrageous things actually think they are the good guys. =[

  • AtheistAussie

What about Muslims...I Notice you said NOTHING about Muslim Radicals.

  • @Tanarus20 I didn't say anything about Hindus, Taoists or Coptics either.

  • @AtheistAussie

And don't forget those violent Jainists.. ;)

  • @Tanarus20 again, watch the vid, Muslims are included in the Radical Islam statement around 0:25 in the vid.

  • You should probably watch the whole video -.-

  • Let's have a list of Atheists while were at it. People are REALLY this dumb?!? What a waste of good Air...

  • @Tanarus20 Did you actually watch the entire video before you made that comment ? If not, you might want to reconsider what you just typed.

  • @AtheistAussie Ok, I stand corrected, I get angry when people go after Christians because they do a lot of good to communities. Feed the hungry, House the poor....etc.

  • @Tanarus20 Some do, others villify homosexuals and transgender people, others seek to implement 'christian' values into law and force society at large to live by them. As for charity work, it's not the exclusive domain of Christians or Christianity. Doctors without borders is a secular charity you may have heard of. All humans can be charitable, religion is not a prerequisite.

  • @Tanarus20 Let's not forget the mandatory bible reading a lot of the hungry and homeless have to go through in order to get food. If they're going to do it, then do it because of actually caring about helping people, not as a sneaky way to push religion on the truly despot.

  • @Tanarus20 take a look at history and the present day and tell me Christians as a whole do alot of good. Go drop dead.

  • @Tanarus20

Actually, all I've seen Christians do is build churches and distribute Bibles...

  • @Tanarus20 you need to watch the whole video, this looks like a parody of the utterly repugnent suggestion by a certain Pastor Shol who believes Atheists should be put on a register like convicts. Just so we are completely clear, I think people like that pastor should be convicted and used as currency in prison.

  • @Shofoxy I know, I corrected myself. One day we'll all live under Sharia Law but no one seems to care...

  • @Tanarus20 haha, dont bet on that, the muslims think the west is weak, I personally think they will be in for a shock when push comes to shove.

  • i hope i'm #1 on the list!

  • @atheistaussie: i figured there must be a punchline coming, but i was worried you may have gone off the rails for a minute...and your script-reading is better than most of the talking heads on television...also, i didn't know you lived in the u.s....i'm quite proud to have you here!

  • @dubcrisis Actually, Miramar, Florida is where "Pastor Mike" Stahl lives not AtheistAussie. I almost made the same blooper, since I was excited to have AA within driving distance of my home! -for a few seconds

  • I don't understand why Christian tossers (not saying that all Christians are tossers of course) like that just don't go the whole hog and advocate concentration camps; at least it would be more intellectually honest.

  • Gee, I think we're making that ole boy nervous. Maybe he should build a big wall around his house and hide. What a goofball.

  • Were not crimals. Everyone is entitled to their own religious beliefs. If you want to know who's a christian in your neighborhood go to the bloody local church.

  • @chalky609 Try watching the whole video before you comment, otherwise you will look quite silly.

  • @AtheistAussie why it's a stupid idea no point wasting more time than i already did.

  • @chalky609 ..because a Christian minister called for a national registry of Atheists, I swapped 'atheist' and 'christian' around so people would see how unfair the whole idea of making national registries of groups like this is. I made the video to demonstrate why NO such lists should be made, but of course if it's just atheists on a national registry, that's ok, isn't it?

  • @AtheistAussie well in that case i understand. i was unaware of your reasons for making a video like this. Me personally i am quite happy to let people make their own decisions on what to believe in. Unfortunately for the christian community there are some people willing to take it to the extreme end of the stick and beat people on the head with their beliefs.

  • @ItsTheSuperFly

It is too bad there is no good way to direct stuff to this guy; you and some of the others could really rip him a few new ones.

  • We need a registry for delusional, which would cover christians, muslims, and any one esle. IT would eb so we know who we need to reach out out and help them nd get them psyhcatric help

  • I can already hear the wheels beginning to turn over at the ACLU. Hey; Pastor - can you spell "Class Action Suit"?

  • @SuperSoylent2 Heh.. let him preach this idiocy. It only helps people realise where religion leads.

  • @AtheistAussie Well since he pulled that post from his facebook channel I really don't think he'll be preaching about it much. The only way for this thing to get some legs is to have people like us spread the word and keep it in the spotlight. This idiot Pastor wants it burried and quickly.

  • the pastor is probably living in fear of his flock embracing free thought. very shameless and oppressive to boot. this could actually push some numbers in our favour by taking such an inappropriate stance. never underestimate the hatred of the christian it would seem. we can see his true colours shinning through on this train of thought.

  • @kram83au Free thought is enemy of religious dogma, I can at least agree with the Pastor on this point. And yes, these sorts of statement only send people away from Christianity.

  • Whew...dam u scared me!

  • @julzabro That Pastor scares me.

  • @AtheistAussie As well he SHOULD scare you! ;)

  • @ItsTheSuperFly So I see, thanks for the links mate :)

  • also, before, i unsubbed from you AA, but i think that you deserve at the very least one more sub for bringing this to everyone's attention...

  • @MobileThinker Thanks very much, this sort of story needs to be spread around as it highlights the mentality of these people.

  • @AtheistAussie absolutely...isn't great that idiots can make me forget completely about why i disagreed with you in the first place? lol.

i hope people realize just how insane this really is. in all honesty, i would probably do it, i don't care who knows i am an atheist, but the idea alone is enough to make me want to take some....shall we say..."unlawful"(i see hacking as an art, not a crime lol) action.

  • alright, i will hire, if necessary, a decent hacker to unblock his blog, and deface it...whomever wants to take up the challenge let me know, if you require pay, inform me before any action is taken...this man is disgusting...

  • i was liking what you were saying...a register would, if nothing else show my personal dislike to the god fearing people of the world and to a degree high light the damage they do to the human condition.

  • @barakameek What if the registry was faaaar bigger than they banked on? That would be most interesting.

  • sounds like the good pastor is a mite threatened.....

  • @ezmereldagreen I demand a registry of people who talk on their mobile phones in the movies!

  • Ah, that explains the pauses in the reading. You were replacing the words on the fly. yeah, it's always telling to swap groups like the Israelites were allowed to own slaves as long as they weren't.... Israelites.

  • @TruthSurge The pauses were because I suck at reading off a script... I can't lie. Or maybe it was the vomit that kept triggering my gag reflex, hard to tell.

  • @AtheistAussie hehe

  • Thank goodness, I was freaking out for a second!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @benaberry No need to freak out when you can be annoyed ;)

  • Religion is the archetype of ideology, the grandfather of extremist thinking. In Rwanda it was required that everyone had their ethnicity on their identification papers, Hutu or Tutse. It made it much efficient to identify the victims when 800,000 men, women and children massacred. In Nazi Germany the Jews were forced to wear yellow stars and pink triangles for the homosexuals. Sure makes a registry sound like fun! Lets give it a try!

  • @deepashtray I can't see anything wrong with it at all! LOL!

  • There's a religious advertisement in the top corner of this video, Derp! :-)

  • @bigboy45454545 Yay! I get a revenue share from a religious organisation. I like it.

  • has anyone ever told you that you look somewhat like jack black?

  • @chaoskings35 Yes.

  • LOL! Turnabout is fair play and all that!

  • @HeavyTrafficAhead That sauce for the goose tastes just as good on the gander :)

  • Well done! Perfectly played to drive home the point.

  • @lhvinny Thank you !

  • An incredibly powerful approach to this issue.

  • @Quintinohthree Thank you !

  • That guy is crazy. Unfortunately he's not alone in his suffering. Millions of fundies all over the world have similar mental disorders. Maybe we should register them.

Just for their own good and the safety of our children, of course...

I'm joking. But I don't think the good pastor was when he wrote his ridiculous blog.

  • @62netty This blog does more damage to fundy Christians than I could do in 1000 videos, but I agree, there are far too many out there that probably think the same even if they don't actually have the stones to put it on the public record.

  • Bloody religion, it's about as useful as a used tampon.

  • @krissyeh ...good analogy, they are both soaked in blood.

  • I saw the original posting(blog)only because a FB friend had posted it. I thought it was a joke. I was wrong.

  • @AthenaSchroedinger Sadly, it's the real deal.

  • Yes, I would feel a lot safer.

  • Good video, that guy is a nut job. I read his blog. He does not allow comments from any person who is not subscribed to his crazy blog.

  • @NaomiChambers I can't imagine why? Surely nobody would say something offensive to him.. ;)

  • He knows having atheists around is bad for business...

  • @dangerouslytalented Ulterior motive, atheists have better business sense? 1 out 1 Bill Gates surveyed agree.

  • @AtheistAussie Bad for HIS business... He is in the business of taking money from religious people.

  • Religion is poison. We have to end these embarrassing barbaric cults and superstitions before they end us.

  • @bary1234 Actions such as this one by Pastor Stahl make it too easy for us to ridicule.

  • Its like the Mutant Registration Act

  • @chthonios ..only more... what's the word? Oh yeah.. "stupid".

  • Next thing you know, they'll want Atheists to wear, say, a black t-shirt with a big red stylized "A" logo or something.

  • @SmilingSkeptic Political oppression meets casual fashion? I like it :)

  • @ItsTheSuperFly

Yeah, he wants to, now, hide his insane imbecilic views but he wants to out people who don't believe in fairy tales. Funny init it?

  • If Michele Bachmann becomes president you won't be able to vote, get welfare, get a job or medical attention unless you have your church attendance card stamped up to date!!!!

  • @Wordavee1 She's insane, from what little I have seen of her.. and I do try to see as little of her as possible.

  • Not surprised to hear of this pastor attempting this travesty. Not surprised at all, especially from Colorado Springs, CO.

  • @saxmanchiro It's sad that you and I know it's only a matter of time before some other religious nutter will come out with something equally appalling, or worse.

  • That article is APPALLING. All I can say is, "Way to not make friends & influence people." This man reminds me of the Pharisee who thanked God that he was oh-so "holy," not like the lowly tax collector. Luke 18:11-14 The tax collector went home forgiven. The Pharisee was not. That man will stand before God & give an account of how many souls he turned away with that piece of trash he wrote. "Faith, hope, & love. The greatest of these is love." 1 Cor. 13:13. Love was lacking in his diatribe.

  • @fruitofspirit It is appalling - and I like to think this isn't representative of most fair-minded people, be they Christian or not. Take care my friend :)

  • I hate to bring up tired comparisons between modern American Christians and the Nazis but in deed Jews had to register as such in Germany well before the mass deportations and internment/death camps began.

More evil shit from the love of Jesus crowd.

  • @MacNutz2 I was going to actually make the same point, but I could just hear someone going 'Godwins Law!", but of course there is enough irony here for the lulz as it all stands.

  • thanks for my morning chuckle

  • I live in Colorado and I love the idea! ;-)

  • @WanderingTaoist101 Noooo !

  • Laughter vs dismay at 2:45.

For me it's dismay. (last seen shaking head and muttering something that sounded like WTF....)

Good video. Thanks for the info.

  • @TalladegaTom Thanks mate. Appreciate the comment.

  • Seems we store our nuts in Florida.

  • @TheOtherSide100 Funny how they 'find' each other isn't it? Perhaps there is rule that says something like "a random dispersion of nuts will not be evenly distributed".

  • Nice. You know ,AtheistAussie, that you are on the creation wiki atheist youtube channels. Nice job.

  • @dtm52 Thanks - yes I saw that I made it on to creation wiki but just a little disappointed that my entry there wasn't very expansive. I'll have to try harder to annoy them. Perhaps a video titled "Fuck creation wiki" might do it ?

  • @AtheistAussie Well mine entry just says, Atheist; Male, but at least I have that going for me. Strange how the religious have to make an enemies or a dislike list. Maybe we should make a video telling them how happy we are to be on their list and not a member of their crazy group.

  • Since we've already got a gun registry in Canada, a Christian registry sounds very appropriate.

  • @NicolSD Atheists are more dangerous than guns according to this Pastor.

  • I would sign up, just to feed reason and logic to the ones that did turn up at my door.

  • @rednecktrucker1969 Indeed.. if the registry actually got off the ground, I think Atheists would probably start networking with it.

  • You know, you remind me of an Aussie version of Conway Twitty. BTW: That's a compliment not an insult.

  • @xTheFurryAthiestx I had no idea what he looked like, so I googled his image. I can see where you are coming from.

  • @xTheFurryAthiestx

"You know, you remind me of an Aussie version of Conway Twitty. BTW: That's a compliment not an insult"

    True. He does.

    Is it an insult?

    Highly debatable!

    Funny?

    As hell!!

    Another great vid from AA.

  • @4me2cclearly Thanks mate.

  • There you go now

  • @rozeboosje Thanks Rozey, I think you made the point slightly more elegantly than I did.

  • @AtheistAussie Nah, points like these need to be made in many different ways by many different people. Your way to present it will reach some people, mine will reach a few others. And I hope many will follow with similar videos.

  • Actually extreme fundie pastors have always had an interest in the register.

    Cash register that is.

  • @pilgrimpater Ka-fucking-ching.. :)

  • I bet Pastor Nutbag would love all Atheists to be tag and given a 9pm curfew.

He needs slapping around the face with a wet fish.

  • @spaceman300 What, he thinks they should actually be allowed to walk the streets? No way !!

  • Actually............

  • Pastor Bigoted Prick needs some buckets of icy water in the face. That might snap him out of it. The freaking douche sounds like a Nazi.

  • @ONESPECIES I think he is experiencing a small dose of reality as we speak...

  • Oh that's classic. Well done sir.

You had me there, I was even starting to nod my head thinking maybe this is a good idea. Thanks for the smack of smarten up!

  • @CanadienAtheist Thanks Mike, it means a lot coming from someone I respect as much as you.

  • Looks like the blog is not (no longer?) public: This blog is open to invited readers only pastorstahl blogspot com It doesn't look like you have been invited to read this blog. If you think this is a mistake, you might want to contact the blog author and request an invitation.

Maybe this idiot got a lot of flak already? Anyone know alternative ways to reach them?

  • @farvision I have no doubt he has already been getting a lot of flack, but deservedly so.

  • Here I was thinking "when the f**k did you move to Florida..."

    Well played...

  • @PsychedelikMonk Thank you.

  • Remember fellow free thinkers people like Paster Stohl strengthen us I love idiots like him

  • @10phoenix01 If he wasn't so serious, this could be the basis for a comedy act. Oh wait, it just was.. in this video :D

  • It is just another hate group in action. If he goes on with it he could be jailed for hate crimes.

  • @no1saphead Maybe, but let's face it, I don't think he is doing Christians any favours while he spouts this sort of nonsense.

  • Another good exercise would be to replace "Atheists" with "Jews". I might just do that.

  • Glurbdamn what an idiot.

  • Yay! Put me on the register.

  • @AuntieDiluvian You registered with me a long, long time ago AD ;)

  • yay lists of people based on their beliefs, this is a brilliant idea, then i can avoid all the fucknuggets :) i think everyone with a religious belief should wear a badge stating their belief, maybe a red cross for catholics, a blue cross for protestants a green crescent for the muslims and a yellow triangle.........ah! ow! wait a mo.....ive just become a nazi. bollocks.....

these ideas seem eerily historically familiar :-/

  • @jimthepleb Actually.. I was thinking, if all the Atheists did all appear on a list together, they would probably use it to their advantage to start local support groups up !

  • The humor of a guy who wants to publicly out all atheists suddenly making his blog private does not escape me.

  • @prodigyat9 Oh, brilliant!

  • Some of these pastors have some pretty wild ideas, that is probably why I am not a Church goer.

    C ya

  • @DownUnderDoug This is one of the wildest ideas I have seen.

  • oh dear.... *shakes head* sad... very very sad...

  • @JoRasVlogs Agreed.

  • hoozaahh!!!!

  • That pastor sounds like a nutbag

  • @bornagainatheist1 I can think of many other applicable adjectives.

  • @AtheistAussie At the time I couldn't put any specific name to it but now I could think of many others as well, although 'nuts' seems to fit as it's a terribly crazy idea. It's just a pity that so many loons will follow douchebaggery like this rather than think for themselves...

  • That's pretty phucked up. Pastor Stahl sounds like a tool.

  • @PlasteredDragon "Pastor Stahl sounds like a tool"

    Welcome to Religion.

  • @KaroKoenich LOL yes.

  • sounds all holocaust like to me...

  • @tattooskin72 Scary isn't it.

  • I see what you did there......Sounds perfectly reasonably to me mate ;)

  • @MoMember88 Heh, thank you.

  • lol

  • @AgentGhost :-)

  • It would also never work if we typed the names into the list. We would probably type in states like "deluded", "crazy", ... which would be very difficult to cross reference to province.
