What Im saying is: Modern musicians with talent like the gentlemen in this video need to make a much larger effort to create what they see as never heard before. That's what sparks musical leaps in culture. Theres a reason that in the future I highly doubt that people will say "Hay, put on some 2000's music, theres nothing like that stuff anymore!" Even the nineties started to lose a lot of progression. When all you artists out there are writing a song, keep this in mind.

I've been searching on youtube for a songwriter who plays music that I haven't heard before, but I still can't find any. I would do anything to hear a new artist that writes something unique. My favorite groups are and will always be Beck, Primus, The Beatles and Radiohead because when they were new, they were so far ahead of their time. We still haven't quite caught up with The Beatles's creativity. Even when I tune to my city's "alternative indy" station, I hear the same sounding stuff. 1/2
