  • "you can utilize lower skilled laborforce" - Leland Speed.

Now why the hell would anyone want to do a thing like that.

  • it sounds too good. What are the cons? I obviously understand the pros, as I have had a site home built, what are the downfalls? hidden cost, taxes etc? I live in northern texas, is it avaible

  • I used Westchester Modular Homes in Bethel, CT. Not enough space to list all the problems with the builder. Horrific company with deal with!

  • please do not consider a manufactured home until you have read the horror stories on the web.

  • this is a MODULAR HOME.....Not the same thing......

  • This is not a manufactured home. It is modular or systems-built home. Just like a stick-built home only built in a factory and brought out to the foundatio rather than built on the foundation.

  • Watch the video moron and learn something. Systems built (modular) are built stronger, more energy efficient, more environmentally friendly, less costly, and timewise (start to finish) is one third or less than a site built. These are not manufactured or mobile homes. As with any house, the success or lack thereof will probably begin and end with your builder/dealer, so check references and do your homework. You will find systems built/modular will beat site built hands down.

  • I live in a manufactured home??? Whats so bad about it. they are much much better than a shitty house that settles on the dirt and get cracked floors and you constantly have to fix cracking tile and shit?
