  • tres belle chansson et tres bon souvenir

  • Get Well Soon Robin!

  • Oh my dear, this is ridiculous!!! That is so BRILLIANT!!!! One of the FUCKING BEST live performances I've ever seen!!!! If the quality of all songs sung by them at this tour was on this level, then it's even better than One Night Only! Bee Gees are simply the best! FOREVER!!!

  • This song gots a great tone

    A great bass....The best

  • 1 person is a fucking retard

  • i cried...i miss them

  • I will wait ...a lifetime...

  • true dance rock music.

  • White boy soul extraordinaire. Amazing!

  • Esta es una cancion espectacular que demuestra toda la capacidad y la fuerza de Bee Gees para ser consideralos como el mejor trio del mundo, esta obra magistral es una musica del alma que muy pocas canciones tienes. Bee Gees forever

  • YES!!!!! Very goofd ritual "catching up with old bands that you liked when you were a kid :)<

  • their best, of many great songs.

  • What Moves What A body;;;;;and of course LOVE that hair

  • yea i agree. The Bee Gees songs will stand the test of time.In the early 80's to much idiots made fun of the Bee Gees because they must have been really jealous of how successful they were.I still like Disco music and besides the Bee Gees were not a Disco group,to me they were more of a pop dance group like Abba.Bee Gees are a awesome group!!!

  • @Joethemithra bee gees and abba were legendary pop groups but they were big chapters in disco music(especially the bee gees) too.

  • if ur not a FAN of BEE GEES u cant be a fan of anyone else!

  • Perfect harmony...so incredible especially with Barry as a falsetto.

  • Can't say I'm a big BeeGees fan, but this is a great song.

  • beyond brilliant....is this on DVD???

  • People who make fun of Bee Gees are idiots. They were absolute genius and their music continues to endure.

  • My fav. Bee Gees song behind "How can you Mend a Broken Heart"

  • "Well I had to Follow you....Though you did not want me too..... " I brought these drugs for you" " ;) I like my version better!!!

  • Screw you "dislike" You had to live it I guess.

  • Now this was music! Thank you for posting this..

  • watching this makes me want to go back to those good times. : )

  • Great song musically and esp. vocally. The lyrics seem to be about a stalker obsessed with a performer on Broadway - unusual theme, particularly for the Beegees!

  • Talkin' bout chest hair...talkin' bout crazy cool medallions. ;)

  • How did Maurice die? I loved the Bee Gees...it was my era. Does anyone know there first number one hit?

  • Wow!!! I'm so glad that they all get along and that they love eachother as brothers should be. Bee Gees rule!!

  • we had such amazing music in the 70s!

  • My absolute favorite Bee Gees song! classic!! ;^)

  • The memories. I remember being around 8 and watching the Bee Gees and I always remember that big gold sign in the background! THats just as much a part of disco as platform shoes :)

  • I love this song, It's never played on the radio anymore!

  • !the bee gees the best of the best! barry is so hot!!!

  • saw them in concert on the Spirits Having Flown Tour. It was just awesome. So glad I got to see all three of them together and Barry looked way hotter on that stage then in any picture. Love the Bee Gees. Just love em. Wish I got to see MJ or J5 in concert

  • up there with the beatles as songwriters ...

  • For being all coke'd up they are pretty damn tight....the baseline is awesome.

JK about being coked up...i read a post one time to that effect but i don't know how true that was. All I know is that the Bee Gees was a very good band.

  • awesome song........... It's too bad that Maurice is already gone!

  • It's really not the first time I say this... certainly not the last.

It's my favorite Bee Gees song. From the hole Bee Gees history/collection...

This IS the song that make all my friends kind of more appreciate the band.

  • My mistake..maurice actually comes in at 3:24 with that high Blaming it on! part..he had the sweetest voice in this song towards the end..

  • Omg Maurice comes in at 3:46 wailing Blaming it on! Blaming on the Nights on Broadwayyy..check out also at 3:48..Maurice later stopped singing that note but here is the proof..Maurice used to Wail on that falsetto back in the early days..RIP Maurice..thats one note I will always remember..Maurices high falsetto.."Blaming it on!

  • He did it live, but on the recorded version, it's Barry.

  • @blkshepherd

But, on this performance, that's not Maurice. That's the three female backing singers you can see to the left of the stage, behind Barry.

  • @LukeShoveller Check out the Live 1975 performance ..there Are no back singers, nor females..Maurice does that part all by his self..and to me it sounds better than whoever is singing those lyrics on the record..

  • As I said in my first comment, Maurice did do it live, but not here.

I disagree about Barry's singing on the record, but Maurice does a very solid job filling in.

  • @blkshepherd well point IS Maurice stopped singing his part long ago.

  • Fantastic version and quality. Cheers to whoever put this up!!!

  • No, no, no, wait, that's wrong - I saw them in 1976, I think it was... Am I that old?

  • Was it towards the end of the year or in the middle? If it was towards the end, it was 1976. :)

Would have been great to be in your shoes whenever it was.

  • That's the year I saw them in concert, here in Omaha, NE. God, I still absolutely LOVE the Bee Gees! Always and forever...

  • Blew me away, this.

  • I love Robin Gibb. Always seemed to have his head on straight. Even in 1979 when the whole SNF thing was freakin HUGE.

I was 15 that year, and they were the biggest thing in the world

  • shit...the crowd at the end.....damn loud!

  • barry looks like the lion from the wizard of ozz here..

  • @bettydaw1970 Bert Lahr look alike?

    I don't think so..long hair was absolutely

in back then... Barry looked good.

  • are u saying bert lahr didnt :)

  • @bettydaw1970 Get real...Bert Lahr was

one wierd looking dude regardless of the

role he played in the Wiz...why don't you

take a close look again at the lion and tell

me Barry looks like that. Got a problem

with long hair and beards or what?

  • u need to work on your sense of humore dude, and let the anger go..

  • Look betttydaw..your sense of humor is

    wierd just like you...because someone

doesn't roll with yours doesn't make them

angry...no need to respond and waste my

    time.

  • @bettydaw1970 , Love Robin though, too!

  • I have been saying that since the 70s ...LOL

  • With a line like "Well I had to follow you though you didn't want me to" Robin would be arrested put in jail and make the front web page of TMZ :)

  • @rocksinger45 Pathetic times we live in now, isn't it?

  • I Would give anything to have all the Bee Gees back together at Concert.

  • Thumbs Up Times 1000

  • Amazing

  • best voices in the world

  • original. supertamp's "gone hollywood", is a close second. both have amazing vocals-

  • The bridge rules!!!!

  • Yah, it does!!

  • Love 1:40 solo and then they all come in at 1:55 looking around at each other to who will hit the big note and the great thing is that they all do. Unbelievable.

  • No, I was a roady during this tour.

It's a little known fact that the guys had terrible flatulance. It's my guess that someone's let one go at 1:40 and the guys are looking round for a culprit. However, I also know that they went under the rule "The one who smelt it delt it".

    That'll be Maurice then...

  • shutup dumass

  • A melhor banda de todos os tempos! Lindos!!! :) Maurice, saudades...

  • blame it on the nights on broadway!

  • baaaaaaaaaad aaaasssss mother F@#$%^& I love this song

  • Saw them in B'ham, AL in 1979... they did every song but this one... but they still rocked!! This was my fav...

  • I think I like the SNL version better lol

  • Heeee we are, there they were, there I was. I was at the Virginia show of this concert. It was "awesome"! And to think--, I now go to Miami to see Barry at his home every September. He's a very "humble" man. :-)

  • I heard some of the Bee Gees were dead. Is that true?

  • screamingdean5:

Yes, the Bee Gee on the left (2:55) (Maurice Gibb) died in 2003. They had another brother (Andy, he joined them on stage for You Should Be Dancing at this concert) who died in 1988, but he was never officially a Bee Gee.

    Hope that helps!

  • Thanks. I like these guys even though they began their career before I was born. They had a lot of class that's missing in most groups of today.

  • Soul Power!

  • Heeeeeeeere we are, in a room full of strangers...

    Legendary!

  • yeah barnett-they were hated because of fad and trend-america loves to praise and then destroy and thats a damn shame-after all this time we STILL do it-i wont name any famous names but we all know who has been given that kind of treatment since the beegees-the way we love/abuse our artists and artisans is always indicative of how we feel about ourselves as a culture i think

  • @lsmoffett74 Yeah lets call them band waggon jumpers ... well the way i see that is im me and i like what i like .... and the BeeGees are a BIG part of that if people that band waggon jump dont like it piss on them.

  • Its weird how in a years time from this they became one of the most hated groups around!

    I always liked em

  • the the best bass line of the 1970S

  • my favorite song..beatiful for ever

  • Still so loving this...

  • I saw them when they came to Seattle in 1979...Barry was the hottest!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Is that the measure of success, how many girls you can get after the concert? LOL!

  • Another exquisite song and performance from the Bee Gees which takes on a new brilliance each time it is heard. FYI: Barry could not get any sexier!!! Look at him here!!!

  • Starting at 2:32.......beautiful! Love this song so much! Absolutely brilliant!!!

  • this is real music....todays; so called recording artists should listen and learn

  • This song is nothing short of magnificent. From the tight harmonies to the cool baseline, everything about it works.

  • for me this is the best version life of nights on broadway

  • agreed !!this is awesome!!

  • If Andy were older, he and Barry could have passed for twins..

  • makes sense since they were brothers. solid gold!

  • Only Andy used coke. these guys were very much anti-coke

  • one of my fave songs from bee gees!

  • They sound AMAZING! Damn...these guys were good. What a shame we'll never see this kind of talent again. I really miss this style of music.

  • Barry Gibb was very sexy :)

  • Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery Coooooooooooolllllllll!

  • YUMMY!!!!!!

    From Kirsten

  • man, I love bands who can really do those harmonies well. ie: The Beatles, Bee Gees, Queen, Wings, ect...

  • I was lucky enough to attend this concert ("Spirits Having Flown") in 1979 because my friend had an extra ticket. We had a fantastic time!! Thanks for the memories!! :-)

  • Absolute antithesis of the 1975 "Midnight Special" audience reaction-- or lack thereof. Glad to know that sometimes there is cosmic justice out there.

Another great performance by The Bee Gees!

  • This has to be one of their best shows ever. Their harmonies were dead on in this song. So fantastic you could feel the energy in the crowd pouring out of my monitors. LOL. Love the BEE GEES...always have, always will!~ :)

  • Great song in general, but the bridge is just mindblowing.

  • never to be replicated...mark my words.

  • Im only 18 years old and I think that The Bee Gee are the greatest band of all times.

Greetings from Viña del Mar - Chile

  • The Beatles are very good but only lasted eight years , The Bee Gees lasted four decades., with a number one in each one of them.

    Greetings from Viña del Mar

  • One of my favorite Bee Gee's tunes. I grew up listening to them on my Dad's 8 track player.

    Amasing singers / songwriters !

  • Love these guys, the harmonies and their range

  • fantastic live performance! great bros gibb!

  • Incredible harmonies

  • Give me a white open collar suit, a medallion, and a long whig, some harmonious falsetto and I'll show you the origin of all poems. how d'ya like that honky groove...! But you can hang the ad at the end...

  • Awesome Song! One of my favs!!!!

  • HAHA!! wow, this is great..

  • unbelievably talented. the people that mock this are losers. plain and simple, they know they can't compete, so they mock. losers.

  • I don't think anyone here has mocked them? But I guess you are right.

  • He never said that someone HERE mocked them.

  • Oh my just WONDERFUL!

  • F@$% me Robin!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you!

  • Thanks You Tube for alowing the world, especially younger generations to hear this wonderful music.

    Thank you Bee Gees

  • By far the most underrated group in music history. No one will ever have another career quite as great and unique as The Bee Gees.

  • Great, minus the commercial. The Bee Gee's at the height of their career. Giving their all in this song alright. I loved it. Thanks for the post.

  • Positively love this one. Every time. Wish I could have been there. Thanks so much obtenerunsi.

  • damm I wish I saw them in concert - they were EVERYTHING in 1977 when I was in 10th grade.

  • love this live version

  • More falsetto screams would have made this fantastic.

  • Artists today have no imagination when it comes to writing their own material. Everyone looks to the past for inspiration, re-writing or re-doing a song or sound and trying to make it their own.

The music today will come and go and maybe even be forgotten. Classics will always stay. The Bee Gees are classic and they are a legend.

  • to think that in 4 or 5 years this sound would dissappear forever

  • Nothing but GREATNESS

  • wow the commericial at the end wtf

    ??

  • This was the most incredible tour one hit after another what an acheivment

  • Robin is so cute! I love him!

  • Why do I love them so much?

    Such great music...and the falsetto!!!!!!!

    ...obviously that's why.

  • LOL, I love the Kellogg's commercial. I always dreamt of attending of the Bee Gees' concert at this time, when they were at their peak. Best performance of this song. THANK YOU!

  • Million stars! Two thumbs up!

  • magnifico

  • en la parte lenta de la cancion de houston texas spirits tour 79 se mezclan escenas del concierto de oakland california se puede notar en las luces q dicen BEE GEES se supone q se apagan pero en este video puedes ver q las luces BEE GEES continuan encendidas..

  • this version is the concert of houston texas with scenes of oakland california 1979 spirits tour if you can see other video of it the lights BEE GEES turn off in a slow sequence but in this video the lights BEE GEES on continues in the close up..

  • GREAT song! such a shame they always did it in short version inside a medley in later concerts; just don't serve this song right!

  • Best version on this song ever!

  • Thank you, great memory's

  • ROFL @ the Kellogs commercial afterwards..

Great video! What a superb sound for these days..
