Nice. I liked it but they should have titled it "The Green Horny" because at the start of the movie he was horny with a chick. Then he met Cameron and most of the scene with her he was horny with her.

In order to break even a film needs to make 2.5 times its production budget. this movie had a 120 million dollar production budget, meaning of course that it needed to make 300 million just to break even. its wrapping up its theatrical run, and its still about 75 million short of breaking even. this movie failed. thats the simple truth of it.

Also there was a bit more chemistry between JC's character & Diaz's than SR's because his acting as Britt Reid was a TURN-OFF. The plot of this movie is idiotic. Seth Rogen deserves much of the blame. He co-wrote the screenplay of this piece of TURD, for a lack of a better word. His jokes are annoying and not amusing. This is the worst of the worst. GOSH!!, what was SONY PICTURES thinking when they assigned such an obscene budget ($120-$150 MILLION DOLLARS!!) to make this crap. Now, everybody is "pointing fingers",they should have left the franchise alone!

Did you ever see "The Dark Knight"?, it is based on The Batman comic book, however, it is pretty dark. (Cont.) the producers of this movie,The Green Hornet, had an obscene budget of $150 MILLION DOLLARS!! to make a quality movie ,however, they chose to make a pathetic film which plot is idiotic,incoherent,annoying and last but not least, painful. Seth Rogen and his partner, Evan Goldberg, insulted everybody's intelligence,specifically the hard-core fans of the green vigilante. If you really want to see a good film, go and rent "Kick-Ass' or "Inception", these are excellent choices.

@raulcitraro dude it wasn't meant to be smart you and critics are slowly failing in knowing audinces look at battle los aneglas one side says it sucks the other loves it.The character himself wasn't famous and other adaptions suck but become successful like the bond films flemming hated them.The film got audinces to laugh not critics who look for art but that solider who came home for fun or that teachert trying to relax not the critic.

It was great! I liked it! This movie is targeted more towards adults 18+. There's a lot of funny scenes and it was entertaining. If you like Kick-Ass then you might like this one. JAY CHOU (KATO) TOTALLY STOLE THE SHOW!!!!! :DDD

@raulcitraro Plot wise, Kick-Ass was better. Audience? Green Hornet and Kick-Ass are targeted towards the same age groups: older teens+. Seth Rogen's Green Hornet's character was so annoying (everyone knows that) but Jay Chou played the part well & Kato ALWAYS KICK ASS!! Also there was a bit more chemistry between JC's character & Diaz's than SR's because his acting as Britt Reid was a TURN-OFF. So KATO STOLE THE SHOW FROM THE GREEN HORNET JUST LIKE HIT GIRL STOLE THE SHOW FROM KICK ASS :D

@raulcitraro Totally!!! Kick Ass has a better kick to the plot and also it entertains the audience in an unexpected and fun way. As much as there are actions in a hero movie, the plot should always be well written as it the best part and it is what makes the audience enjoy the movie. Unlike Kick Ass, The Green Hornet has its frustrating and irritating moments.
