This is so wonderfully done, ahem, speaking from experience? Or maybe just plain out incredible acting! Meryl Streep is so charming in this movie, and this scene captures that of her. Steve Martin has a smashing abilty to fit any role he plays, here, a tad-bit shy yet modest guy, that makes him to be the guy you want to win the girl! Alec Baldwin is superb.

Anyone else notice how, the older Alec Baldwin gets, the better he is as an actor. He used to come across as an intense prick - but now with this stuff and the sublime 30 rock, he's found his niche as a comedy actor.
