If you listen to many of Teddy Riley's songs from the NEW JACK SWING era, you will find that Teddy chopped up this song and put it in MANY of his hits. ONE damn song! This one song produced several hits! Youtube any song produced by Teddy and listen carefully....Does that make him a good producer, or just a guy who knew a good hit?

Wrong again, the sample is used in Gin And Juice, you need to listen close, because there are 2 basslines in Gin And Juice..Listen to the first 2 bars of this song with the bass and the drums, thats what was sampled and slowed down, listen to the song on headphones and you can hear the sample..On top of that I have the original cd and a re issue from years later, the re issue list the samples used, and its listed, along with Slaves "Watching You", the original cd does not list any samples used.

Sorry, my bad. It has been a long time since I haven't listen Gin and Juice. The drums sound the same, but the bass is either different or it sound backwards or mixed or it was heavily slowed down like you said.
