A fan has created a South of Nowhere Convention Fan Page on Facebook! Go here facebook.com/pages/South-of-Nowhere-Convention/304114539643025 and "Like" it if you want there to be a convention!
That won't guarantee a convention will happen, but if enough fans show interest, the right people may get inspired to make it happen!
One thing you can tell by the fact that they made these videos is they care about the show and all of us!
Why not take Paypal donations for the fans to finance more episodes (maybe even just low budget webisodes). I don't know if something similar has been done before, but it's basically just cutting out the middlemen of advertisers who want to sell to the demographic anyway. Just have the fans directly finance them. We would. It would work.
i just love the fact that the cast was close enough with each other (all accept the actor that portrayed clay) that they were willing to reunite years later to give us this short closing for the series even if MTV wont bring it back this short was good enough for me.

Tom's meeting with MTV has been pushed back again. It is now June 7th. Now we have even more time to show them why they should green light a #southofnowheremovie or #southofnowhereseries !
Tom's meeting was moved to 5/16 that means we have until then to desroy the current combined views total! It only took us 8 days to get over 100k. The new unofficial goal is 300k by 5/16. Spashley completely altered my universe. I first met my girlfriend on a fan forum about South of Nowhere about 4 years ago. Back then, we were just friends... but now we're together and I have never been this happy! Thanks SON!

I was just out of high school when South first aired. I'd never seen anything like it before. This show helped me in so many ways including coming out and accepting myself for who I am. Watching this and the Fan movie brought tears to my eyes. To know that you guys care just as much about something that has changed my life and helped turn me into the person I am today just warms my heart. You all have my sincerest and deepest thanks.
Okay I definetly think that the plot/story line for what is being filmed is that Spencer is doing another documentary of her friends and family. Gabby is in almost everyone's shots and she stands behind the camara when out of the shot and is talking to whoever is on screen in character IMO
i love this show. I was so struggling with the way i feel about girls and why i dont feel it about guys. I couldn't deal with it. With my family. I didn't want to accept it. SON just helped me so much. To accept who i really am. I was so sad after the show ended. I really hope this movie will be coming someday and help others,just like me!

I love this show so much. It was my teen years. However, based on where the show left off, how are they going to continue with anything from there? I appreciate their attempt to give the fans closure by showing Ash and Spence as a grown up couple at the end but now what?

South of Nowhere was and still is an incredible, ground breaking show that helped me to be true to myself and come out. It showed me that I was not alone and that there were so many other people my age that were experiencing the same situations. It also introduced me to the girl that changed my life and is still my best friend til this day. To have this show made into a movie would be absolutely incredible! The future generations need have this experience!
All you have to do is search youtube for South of Nowhere / Spashley fan videos to see how much love there still is for this show. I live in the UK where it never aired, but I was lucky enough to be able to watch it online and I bought the first two seasons when they released through Amazon. I still love this show and every now and again I have to rewatch it. Such a special time and such a special cast. We want you back in whatever form you can do!

I want their to be a SON movie because SON was a show that let lgbt teens that they are not alone when coming out and through relationships. That there are people who care, and people like them in this world. It was something I needed when I came out, but it was on a few years after. Teens still need something to look too that is at their age. Glee is helpful with Kurt, but more the better right!

When I first watched the show I remember thinking (about Ashley hugging Spencer) "That's not right...!" And I basically had the same face that Paula Carlin had when she saw that on the stairs. I'd majorly put down money to watch an SON movie. Not only would Mandy and Gaby back onscreen together be amazing, but them actually acting like two people in love instead of the desexualized, censored teens of South from back in the day would be awesome. Nevertheless thanx for everything South.

You guys are fantasic. I love how South of Nowhere has become an important part of all of your lives, that til this day you seem to feel even stronger about the show than ever. Doesn't this look like Spencer making some sort of documentary? I mean, they made Gabby look more mature here, IMO. I hope there comes a movie, or even if it's just some kind of "thank you" to fans, I'd gladly take it. Then again, this is so out of the blue. What made the SON folk come up with this? I'm not complaining. Just a bit confused! Ha!

I will be so freakin' over the moon if this is a movie. I already own all of the seasons on itunes, I need a bit more material here. I don't think anything can beat the originals...but a movie would just add onto the original awesome. THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Alot.

@southofnowhereonline there aren't enugh videos for say how much me need a south of nowhere movie or something like that. SON was like air for us becouse, thanks to this tv series, somepeople start to think that people that are gay, les or bi or trans are like you and me.
for that reason, i think, we need more of SON.

I don't know what I would be like today if South of Nowhere never existed.
When I first watched the show I remember thinking (about Ashley hugging Spencer) "That's not right...!" And I basically had the same face that Paula Carlin had when she saw that on the stairs. But that amazing thing was, I was questioning my sexuality at that time. So that fact that South of Nowhere helped me be happy with myself is amazing. <3

@galletas21 i doubt the show would start up again, mainly cause when it ended on The-N, they went around to so many other networks and no one wanted it. but, there are big rumors about a movie, and i hope to God they are true!
