You can actually, and quite well. I seem to recall some review site calling the MBP one of the best gaming laptops out there. Whether or not that's true, there is a video on Youtube showing one run Crysis.
Of course, I'm a developer, so gaming's not a priority for me. I got a Wii for that anywho.
