its not an ISO file cause its not the game. you have to get the winning eleven 2008.iso first before u can use this rar to patch it, to change its main menu viewing.

what programme do u use to open the rar? i use winrar. winrar can open ISOs too. there should b a folder or two when u open the patch + OF rar. open that and u get the Game Graphics Programme, and the savedata OF.

if you have downloaded the rar it comes with a step by step picture readme. which vaguely explains how you can overwrite the files within your own we2008. patching is not necessary. you can just put ur option file into your psp savedata directory. it should work just fine.

was playing on fine til 2nd season in league mode. my patched 2008 starts to hang when loading gameplay. ever since there's a 50% chance my game will not load. besides that i noticed a few wrong updates for the epl teams. yakubu should b in everton, not middesbrough. and bejani mwaruwari should be in man city, not portsmouth. other than that gd work for ur option file :D

its not an iso format. its in rar format. and when u have to manually use the programme thats included in the rar to overwrite the files inside the ISO of your own game. and you do not need to make a save game in iso format either. no one does

yeah, you have to manually install these new graphics 'emblems' onto the original iso, changing the game, which you do with the programme you download in the link, I've made a short tutorial out of jpeg pictures of me doing it step by step, will stick them up shortly

There is ENGLISH text in this game, when your typing in team names, press select to scroll through the languages, eventually English will come up, now you can call Arsenal, Arsenal etc :) if you guys never figured i out, hope it helps

wasnt very certain. i remember before the 3rd step there is a window asking whether you want to create another file(or something similiar). this at which my first attempt i clicked no. ended up having the same problem as yours. deleted the 1st attempt iso and went onto the next attempt on a new copied iso. clicked yes this time round.. and the rest of the steps i followed. works fine for me then.

yeah you have to create another file when it asks, this makes a fresh new iso with the items you added in, then simply just shrink the new iso into a cso or whatever and play!

Apparently people have been having problems with the option file, saying error whilst loading it, I'm on CF 3.40 OE-A if that helps, apparently someone said your firmware is responsible for the game saves sometimes in rare occasions.

Best wait for the official release of PES 2008 end of February, I know I am because a decent patch should be out a few weeks after that with official strips etc.

i was following the picture tutorials wit da patch, wen i got 2 step 6 and successfully did the 0_text.afs folder, i had to do the e_text.afs folder. i done it all right, but wen i got 2 importing the e_text files from the patch into the 22 file, it kept saying "oops . . .file 7.bin not found" it said dat for every file. help me out plz.

For e_text go to the folder thats says Files 0-99

then go to unnamed_22.bin then import the files into it.

Once they've been imported you'll see Fifa, premiership, Ligue 1 orange etc badges.
