His only noteworthy opponents have come in recent years and they've all either been horribly beaten (by floyd, or others) or they were fought at catch weights! @1994Jett i'm not saying there aren't good fighters, but as far as adjusting in the ring, speed, defense, accuracy, you check compu-box numbers and ask analyst, no one compares. about xylocaine, it is not a PED, it is similar to an analgesic/anesthetic for the area to which it is applied. Earlier in his career, Floyd was breaking his hands every fight, which is clearly unacceptable if he wants a careers. When did Mayweather back out of anything? All he said is that he didn't want to think about boxing right now. He didn't say that he didn't want to fight Pac. The fight can actually still happen.
As for the Mayweather / Mosley fight, how come Mosley age didn't come up before the fight? All I heard from people is how Mosley was going to this and that to May. Now I'm hearing all of these excuses as to why he got his beat for 11 out of 12 rounds.

That's your assumption which doesn't mean anything! Why would May be afraid of a guy that has lost 3 fights already (and got knocked out bad in one of those fights)? It's hard to get good hits on May. He's one of the best defensive fighters ever -- and don't give me that running BS either. Most people just don't no anything about boxing. Mayweather possesses THE most important quality that a boxer can have - RING GENERALSHIP!!!

Pac is not a BOXER in the traditional sense. He is too much of a free swinger and he leaves himself wide open for counter punches. And he did turn down a fight. He turned down an opportunity to fight Mayweather when it was first supposed to happen. Like Mayweather said, "where was Manny Pacquiao before?" All of these bandwagon fans!

@805RAIDERS1 Pacquiao ducked Marquez for a 3rd fight, after being helped by the judges to get a draw and a win he did not deserve. And as for Pussy Ass Gayweather, he has ducked Cotto, Margarito and Pacman many many times. Maybe he would have wanted to fight Pacquiao back when Pacman was a fly weight so Gayweather could have a 20 pound advantage the night of the fight just like she did against Marquez..

@RatedRKingofKings the judges scored things just fine if you look at it. jjm made one hell of a comeback in the 1st and 2nd fight. but he should't be so carless to give a fight away that he could have won. i believe that jjm won more rounds but c'mon knockdowns cause a bigger difference than you think. if anything pac should have won the first fight by split descision because the first round was scored 7/10 instead of 6/10. despite the hard work jjm is lucky for a draw in the first fight!

1. it's not pacquiao's fault for not fighting jjm. it's arum's greedy ass fault.
2. jjm is out of his prime anyway so we don't need to here complaining if pac wins in a more devastating way compared to split descision.
3. anyway, imo split desicions are only fair for half of the fans watching. a split descision is one of the most frustrating was to win and lose. because opinions will always be exchanged on who might have really won or lost or whatever. that's just my opinion.

@Pinoycyberwebs Young Mosley would fight a younger Mayweather. And a younger Mayweather was faster than he is now, and threw combos frequently. I think Mayweather would be favored slightly over any version of Mosley. As for Cotto, his movement would have bothered a younger Mosley also but I think he is easier to hit and Mosley would catch him eventually.
