  • so pure, beautiful, and simple, truth is!

  • Hes a very wise man :) And i can't understand how you can dislike this kind of person.

  • A commitment we all need to make to ourselves and one another:)

  • My heart smiles listening to the Dalai Lama, a man I can listen to and genuinely believe in everything he says.

  • Our number One!!!!

  • Thank You♥

  • This gifted teacher provided me with the means to survive the death of my husband. By constantly focusing on warmheartedness, and using disciplined mindfulness to resist negative afflictions, I have been able to push away darkness and embrace positive actions such as loving kindness. I took my Bohdisattva vows, and am every day working to end suffering of all sentient beings. Very hard work!

  • I take pride as an Indian, that my country is hosting his holiness Dalai Lama, the peace icon. Legacy of Buddha, Gandhi is still alive!

  • His Holiness is my Hero.My heart fills with Love and soars when i listen to teachings.Prayers and Thank You...

  • there is no room of violence, no more cheating, no more hipocracy. If you out of warmheartedness speak to fully, honestly you can act transparently that build trust. Trust build friendship. Happy society, happy family. Irrespect of a believer or non-believer. that's what I mean, commitment.

  • My number one commitment is to promote inner peace. Ultimately base on warmheartedness. That the real promotion. Not based on religious faith. But based on a biological factor, and then scientific findings. That's the main reason. The main sort of focusing. Using these factor, and more compassionate mind. Your physical health better. Your relation with family member, community member... better, happier. Once we develop generosity, respect other out of sense of concern of their well-being then

  • Instead of wishing that everyone had compassion, why not just try to be the most compassionate person you can be? Don't give another driver the finger when they do something stupid. Give them a smile and wave. Offer someone with fewer groceries than you, or someone with children, to go through the checkout line before you. Offer a hand when you think it's needed. Don't yell at people. Think of what you don't like, then don't do that to others. Compassion is that simple.

  • Your Words are so powerful and true! You are such a blessing and a true testament that world change begins in each and every one of us! <3 <3 <3

  • 1:09 "If you, out of Warmheartedness, Speak Truthfully, Honestly, and you can act Transparently, That Builds Trust. Trust Build Friendship. Happy Society, Happy Family." I'm going to try to keep this with me this Thanksgiving Your Holiness.. Thank You for Your Wisdom.. :)

  • What an amazing man!

  • I love living in the united states. Can anyone imagine if this were an amabassador of the US?!? This man speaks of genuine compassion. The sad fact is that anyone in a politcal position in the US has no fucking idea of what this man speaks. I wish whole heartedly that we had congressmen in the US that had half of the compassion and wisdom of HHD.

  • If everyone on this planet took to heart any one piece of advise from HHDL then the world would definitely be a better place for all.

  • Привет из РОССИИ!

  • Om mani padme hum

  • Recently met the Dalai Lama. Received a strong impression tenderness and warm personality

  • Lama may be right but the problem is constant growth of human population

which cant go on forever at this rate.

we cant and dont need 7,000,000,000+ ppl on this planet.

we cant have everlasting peace cause we would spread like rabbits.

at this rate (growth of 1.3-1.5% per year of homo-sapiens population) we would have 1 man per square meter of dry land in less than 800 years... which is non-sense.

you have to control population via education, awerness or killing... and killing is so much easier

  • @utar88utar I understand what you're saying, but that just leaves the ones who didn't get killed unhappy. The easy way isn't always the best way, and I would imagine 800 years from now would be a very, very different place. 200 years ago (or even 100), it would not have been possible to house/feed the population densities that we now have in many places, but due to technology this has changed. This will continue to change and in 800 years, housing so many people may not be so difficult.

  • @mikeyx11 maybe, but the problem is... we dont (civilization) need 7,000,000,000+ ppl to keep it going.

that's the whole idea. most of ppl live on this planet from one day to another, without thinking, without idea or purpose... they just are. dumb and ignorant.

    7B population it's 6.5B too many, mate.

that's the whole tragedy of men.

but ppl dont wonna think nor listen... hence we deserve war that's on the horizon.

  • @utar88utar If our only aim is to keep just enough to keep our civilization going, then what's the point? Why do we need to keep our civilization at all? We don't need 500 million. We don't /need/ any.

If people accept what they think is the inevitable, then nothing can ever change. If we deserve war that's on the horizon, we deserve it only because we took the easy option and just accepted that it's going to happen regardless.

  • @mikeyx11 what's the point? well, you have asked the final question at which many before us tried to answer...

imho, the beauty of life, it's perfection is embedded in fact that life, in fact, has NO meaning nor point.

    it just is...

i also believe that only ppl who truely understand that can do things others cant even imagine.

both good and bad. like stalin for example... or That guy :] (Lama).

life has no meaning, mate. the only meaning it can have is what we do with it... still questionable

  • @utar88utar Exactly, there is no point, so then justifying the existence of 500 million (instead of 7 billion) in order to continue our civilization has no reason.

We don't need to control the population: it will control itself. If the world cannot sustain us, we will just die. We don't need to actively kill for that. Everlasting peace would mean everlasting technological innovation, meaning 10000 billion people would be fine if we have the technology and means to sustain such a population.

  • @mikeyx11 we no longer have a natural predator in our environment.

since we can make bows and arrows + ignite fire nothing threats us (in general)

hence we are resposn. for controling our population cause there is nothing else to do but to develop...

not to grow to insane numbers.

the point is... 500M is enough for this civilization to excel. probably even less would do.

so all we need to do is to trim that 6.5B of fat :]

lets face it, mate. most of us is useless.

    we contribute nothing of value

  • @utar88utar I agree that most people are useless, but if you get rid of 6.5 billion the ratio of useless people to useful people won't change. There are many animals that don't have predators, but they can only grow their numbers as far as their environment can sustain them.

If we can't find a way to sustain ourselves, then we will fight over what resources we have anyway. The fat will trim itself if you don't have enough food energy to keep it.

  • @mikeyx11 yes, ergo we will have WW3 pretty soon, mate.

'cause of reasons you have mentioned.

everything is according to plan... and we aint in it :]

  • this holy man should be appointed world's spiritual and political leader, earth would be a better planet to live in

  • Peace

  • OMPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for the comment***** ... I'll take :)))))Fiona(éva)Hungarian
