I cant decide with is better!! Im going on Manta today but ive never even seen HRRR yet. But I think HRRR will have more worlds first record breaking stuff. But Manta is definitely the most different from the flying coasters. I think its a tie

although the track itself looks ok, rockit is definitely a rip off of the rock n roller coaster with the whole music thing. i've learned to not get excited about universals new attractions because they always put out minimun

no it is really bad. after the loop its not as fun.. they spent to much money on that and Universal is screwed since it is getting horrible reviews.

yeah everyone is saying it is not as good as they thought. the ride itself isnt fun i have been on it. after the loop its over. The truth is since i work for a coaster review place, overall the top 3 in all of new of '09 is 1.) Diamondback at Kings Island 2.) Manta at Seaworld 3.) Saw the Ride at Thorpe Park. HRRR doesnt make the top five just since its over rated.

Rode this 7 times over the past two days. That head first drop after the initial drop is worth it every time. Rides very smooth as well, nothing violent. SIT IN THE BACK DO NOT WASTE TIME WAITING FOR FRONT ROW. thank me later.

Because of the nature of the ride (flying), it's not meant to be overly intense with harsh changes in direction etc. The ride will give you the sensation of free flight, with the train moving gracefully as if it was taking you where you would naturally want to go if you were a bird. The sensation is amazing!

the zero car, I believe, is supposed to dip into the lake after the MCBR, causing the "splash" effect.

I'm not sure, but I don't think any part of the car is going to touch the water. I think the splash effect will rely mostly on the water jets.

When the splash pool was first filled with water (before cementing), the wings didn't come very close to the water.

However, I could be wrong. :)

Westcot16: Manta will use the same feature that diamondback uses to make the splash. They are orange bars that hang off the trains and they hit the water.

but the fatc that youre flying makes the ride incredible. Ive been on SUF and i found it slow but when i rode it WOW
