Trust me, i would know. As for why you would probably think it's in a different key, is because its a FREGGIN CELLO! NOT A GUITAR! They don't really sound a-like now do they? Which would describe why it may sound as if it's a different pitch, just as Distortion can make in tune pitches sound flat. :P
