  • POOR HIHATS!!!

  • the crowd is so dead they don't deserve it to see such an awesome band 0o

  • When was this?

  • This song is SICK SICK SICK!

  • the drummer is so entertaining to watch. i don't know why

  • great crowd

  • @Andeexfactor927 Fuck . Yeah.

  • josh always has a bad ass mothereffin' gretsch...

i'mma go pout with my fender strat...

or just steal my brother's gretsch and pretend i'm Josh Homme... -sigh- i can never compare to his awesomeness...

  • @sahisdabest Josh doesn't use gretsch he uses Maton guitars and Epiphone Dots he used to use ovation gp's but never a gretsch.

  • @groovey65

He actually used a Gretsch Corvette while recording Lullabies to Paralyze

  • @bowden2112 the studio is a different story sorry If wasn't specific enough I meant what he uses live he uses endless amounts of guitars in the studio!!

  • seems like the crowd doesn't know who's on that stage.. they're like this generation's Nirvana!!

  • im depressed... they're coming to where i live, indianapolis, in march on their new tour, but where they're going it is a 21+ age limit. it's not fair! that's not giving any respect to the teenage fans out there.

  • @jeevsrocks I have the same problem. 18+ at their Norway show :(

  • drums are amazing!

  • WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • the audience doesnt seem to be having much fun

  • those insturments are fcking awesome

  • EVERY member of this band is a badass. Holy Hell! This band can do no wrong.

  • i know there is a very limited amount of dislikez as opposed to likez-I just just just don't see how there could a single gripe. BAD FUCKIN ASS!!!!

  • 2:27. McLovin!

  • @Andeexfactor927 Hail Josh Homme!!! Rock god of the century!

  • yes it is easy. I love the run after the chorus

  • dean fertitas in dead weather now

  • OOOOOOO!

  • fuck. yeah.

  • when i first saw the music video i thought it would probably suck live, but they really pulled it off! its amazing!

  • sounds better here.

  • is that alessandro cortini on keys? (ex NIN)

  • @GrooveInYourOwnTime no it's dean fertita

  • dean fertita really has to be thinking "damn i wish i could rock like those guys, or maybe sing a little bit for real" through half the song.

  • what happened to the bass drum?

  • @Andeexfactor927 Yeah one of the greatest songs of the 00's from a band that came from the 90's!!!

  • @ninmachine109 QOTSA is really more of an 00's band. I mean their debut was released in '98.

  • good to know rock n' roll is in good hands...

  • @MrGodzilla90 Got that right mate, praise these guys

  • what a good fucking combination of heads this line up is, i think shuman made the cut man, they should def stay with this line up permanently

  • I entirely and wholeheartedly agree that this song is god damn amazing. But I am sorry to say that the high pitch weird sounding "Sick Sick Sick, dont resist." from that one keyboardist guy is just not pleasant to the ears... Where is Mark Lanegan when you need him?

  • grandi!!!

  • does he sang "kokain"...."dont resist" at the end of the song?? xDD

  • @StinkiwinkiPoo it's "c'mon"

  • @sususegar are u sure? i think "kokain" would also beeing a good version^^

  • @StinkiwinkiPoo if u search on certain lyrics sites, some say "c'mon", others say "come out". whichever version makes u happy, mate.

  • fuckin love this song

  • that was amazing live!!

  • 1:03 Fuck sake Josh XD

  • @CudiC4MNM xD

  • That riff at :56 is so FUCKING AWESOME.

  • @lexriani no shit sherlock thats why theres people watching this video.

  • @lexriani Oh i just love people who troll.

  • @SuperRockish I have my troll mood swings. With that being said, this song sounds like someone getting hit by a truck and ran over on repeat for 3 minutes.

  • @lexriani I Know right? Its a Sick Song, i love it.

  • @SuperRockish i see whut u did thar.

  • that bass drum sounds like a cardboard box is being hit

  • Check out my cover of this song please guys. (: /watch?v=j8mljZpjjXY

  • O2 isnt 2002 or a year..

O² is a German Company Like AT&T in US (or Telecom in Europ)

  • Nice Vistalites.

  • ???

  • I don't get the "02'. This tune was released in 2007?

  • lol thats the name of the festival and i think the venue

  • O2 not 02

  • 02 are the sponsors of the festival. if your not from the uk they are a phone provider here

  • Agreed.

  • @Andeexfactor927 I agree 100%.

  • awesome!!!

  • pretty amazing live

  • para mi que queen of the stone age en su ultimo disco sacaron lo q buiscaban ya que en los anteriores eran una cagada las letras aguante nirvana

  • las letras de queen of the stone age son buenas! pero tenes q entenderlas!

  • I think their drummer must be excited or something.. he's rushing and pushing hard

  • he seems to always be that way haha. good example, look up song for the dead with grohl drumming than him, much faster

  • dave grhol isnt much faster, joey cant play this faster because the song is not as fast as a song for the dead for example...

  • oh my bad, what i meant by that but didnt come out clearly was o look at the grohl performance to see how the pace isnt as fast in comparison to joey's. just got poorly phrased. they're still great drummers though

  • oh i see haha, sorry if my cmment was harsh haha:P

  • haha its all good

  • haha:P

  • @XXjConXX it's actually harder to play slower tho...

  • didnt say otherwise. need much more control to do so

  • that is some brutal ass palm muting this song is actually pretty hard to play spot on. josh homme is a god.

  • @aurlis2012 Palm muting? When does he palm mute? You're commenting on his palm muting? And this ain't that hard a song to play. Why is your comment the highest rated comment?

  • @haisevaewok lol relax dude. listen to studio version. i started playing guitar 1 month b4 i posted that comment neways, and its prolly rated the highest because most ppl agree with me??

  • @aurlis2012 Josh Homme is GOD.

  • @aurlis2012 True Josh Homme is a god. But, there is absolutely no palm muting in this song and its not the hardest song ever. QOTSA is still the best band on the planet.

  • @ImNIClK Yes, this song isnt difficult to play and it hasnt a solo, no one knows is a difficult song to play.

  • @aurlis2012 Umm, there's no palm muting in this song, and it's actually really easy to play. I do, however, agree with your last statement. Sort of. Lemme Kilmister of Motorhead is God. Josh Homme is the ginger Jesus.

  • @aurlis2012 There is no palm muting in this song. It is a repeated open C and A 17th Fret F. Get it Right

  • @aurlis2012 No it's not. No palm muting. Now you do know there's a difference between PM and using your palm to stop the strings right?

  • @aurlis2012 actually the song is not that hard to play spot on, the only thing that some people would deem challenging to play on spot would be the pre-chorus riff.

the whole song musically is crazy, if it sounds good its good, and just because it sounds soo good (which it does) doesnt necessarily make it hard to play on a real instrument. those are my 2 cent jus lettin ya know

  • i think they screwed up the backing vocals with the "sick, sick, sick" part, which is a big part. apart from that it was good

  • i think they nailed the backing vocals

  • You guys are right, amazing shit they're putting out compared to a lot of other artists. They have a good groove going - with this song and Misfit Love - with the one-chord rhythm guitar and bass pattern; some 'out-of-pitch' sounding synth for flavour. And the great vocals are pretty much all that differentiate the song's sections.

  • Freakin' sexy. Joey really outdid himself, this time, in my opinion. Josh didn't quite nail the end mumblings/"I'm gonna change" in the end, though, in my opinion. Other than that, shit's great.

  • @Ofuda That's because Julian Casablancas from the strokes does that part on the recording. :)

  • @matt1451 Really? Huh. Well, that's interesting. thanks for the tidbit, I didn't know that.

  • What's Home's guitar??

    One of his Ovation??

  • it's a maton bb 1200

  • thanks!

  • no, that looks an awful lot like his Maton signature, the BB1200JH. pretty sick guitar i might add.

  • I agree ^^

  • Who? the drummer? Looks like everyone's feelin it.

  • im pretty sure the misfits were a big influence for this band

  • aww no julian :P oh well... but queens of the stonage = AWESOME band :D

  • Simple and just great. QOTSA got the best ideas for new songs.. other bands havent got the luck to drop one bomb on another..

  • they are perfect; this live is perfect...i mean it

  • i can't help but pelvic thrust the midnight air to this!

  • I dry hump anything and everything uncontrollably whenever I hear this song. Ear candy to cum to.

  • I was there, at the front.

  • Comment removed

  • it says O2 not 02

  • is that David on the drums

  • No, it's Joey Castillo.

  • This whole song sounds like something associated with zombies. Like Dawn of the Dead or something.

  • if you look carefully enough, anything can be associated with zombies.

  • QOTSA are ridiculously diverse. It's incredible that they can put a song like this on the same albumas "I Wanna Make It Wit Chu" and get away with it. Homme is a legend, can't wait to hear what he's done to the new Monkeys album

  • sounds alot like all my life by foo fighters

  • I beg to differ...

  • i don't know why but QOTSA have this punk side to it. I think that's what operates the magic. Their so fucking addicting to listen to.

  • you can tell that josh doesn't just listen to metal and hard rock

  • Some of Josh Homme's early influences were hardcore punk bands so that probably rubs off on some of his music.

  • Amazing¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Josh has the coolest fucking sounding guitar in this song.

  • Where is Julian? :(

  • Holy shit. It's actually better live. Thats amazing.

  • 2:27 MCLOVIN!!!

  • ive seen them 2 times live ...amazing

  • agreed

  • this is so good, i can't take it.

  • hey adrin, i was just asking a question dude. as for you calling me an idiot you havent earned that right asshole you 15 year old punk. you can call me an idiot when youve served up some real time in life and have done something constructive instead of watch cartoons on tv,idiot

  • Comment removed

  • Holy crap, did you see that crowd-surfer totally faceplant into the crowd in the first 2 seconds of video?

  • lol at 1.03

    god save the queens

  • where the hell is the regular bass player he kicked ass

  • seems like you are a bit late my friend.

  • You mean Nick? Oh, man you're an absolute idiot...he was kicked out of the band after Songs For the Deaf.

  • omg he left in 2004! you a lil bit late there dude

  • It is Julian from strokes on backup vocals in studio, moron..

  • this songs dope.. the beet catches you right away.. haha, i know a girl that gets turned on by this song.. and luckily that girls my girlfriend ;D

  • the music video is pretty brutal haha. pretty good song. And yeah Julian Casablancas of The Strokes does the backup vocals/bass on the studio version.

  • I didn't that, thanks! Thats so weird.

  • I'm not much in Queen of the Stone Age, but this song hooked me up from the first seconds. Just amazing song.

  • No. Just no...

  • Uhh no dumbass its homme in studio.

  • haha bull shit. backing vocals were done by casablancas. look it up you fuckin QOTSA fanboy

  • fuck you asshole, go and piss other people off. Or go jump off a cliff !

  • not as good as the studio version. sorry but you cant replace julian casablancas monotone vocals haha

  • Where is Troy They just aret the same without him

  • What do you mean were is troy? He's on Josh's right :-P

  • sry my bad

  • was his voice gng out?

  • That was beyond god-like.

    :)
