  • So I have UC as well or at least I did until I had my appendix removed. Ever since then I haven't had any problems for about 3 months straight. I'm still getting used to leaving the house without using the bathroom. Message me if you want to hear more or whatev.

  • >< Im so sorry.. I have UC too.. I got diagnosed when I was 17,, and I was pretty bad and my pediatrician had to beg my GI doctors at the hospital to use Remicad because it was an experimental drug the doctors pretty much were getting on surgery to remove my entire colon.. Im 23 now and it is very much a miracle chemical for my body have yet to have a flare up in 3 years.. I hope you all get well you are all in my hearts <3.

  • @bluskittlekilla thanks!

  • Fantastic video, i understand you completely.

    your an inspiration

  • @pekitivey awww, thanks so much!

  • I am with you on this somewhat crappy journey.

  • @veraoptics ahh thanks... follow me on twitter and we can chat! @jordansweeney22

  • I feel bad for those who had to result in surgery. Look up MMS and healing crisis. You will then understand why your immune system does what it does and you can work with it. I am currently detoxing and feeling great...Message me if you need more info, glad to help anyone

  • @jmsdvs thanks for the heads up

  • 100% raw vegan diet of juices and blended foods is the cure for ulcertive colitis. symptoms will go away within a week to a month, you have to not do heating foods- cayenne, garlic or onion.

  • you got talent. some of our teens struggle with the same things. we'd love for you to see their videos and let us know what you think.

  • @IBDUwebsite cool stuff, thanks for sharing

  • I like your music have you thought about getting it recorded at a studio.

  • i did record it in a studio...

  • Amazingly catchy song!

unfortunatly i have UC also....and it's pretty bad at the moment....BUT..the verse:

"...because I understand my cure is poison that my body won't drink."

is like the drug remicade for me....

i was using it for about 6 times and IT WAS A MIRACLE...but now my body doesn't agree with it and i go into anefelectic shock (or howerver u spell it) and it sucks....no other medicine works for me and i have no idea what to do!! >:|

  • hey man, i am so sorry to hear about the remicade... I have been on remicade for a year and a half. Have you tried Imuran? or thought about surgery? I have been in remission for almost a year now, ever since i had my son, it seems like i have been normal. My son makes me happy ALL THE TIME. Which i believe lowers my stress level. I think he is helping me.

  • I'm on Imuran right now, along with Azacol...the only problem with Imuran is it quickliy lowers my white blood count, so i get my blood tested every week...and it make my hair fall out.

    Congradulations with your son :)

  • @ILikeOWLS very true im also on imuran, and the big thing is to keep the stress levels down :D

  • @A12345GUESS how you doing now? I just had my j-pouch take down surgery about 3 weeks ago

  • @A12345GUESS what medicine is dat? the steroids?

  • Still, your chords, melody and arrangement are _really_ ear-catching. Who thought talking about my UC (or remission, as per my video) and listening to others talking about theirs would lead me to catchy music!

  • I understand the J-pouch sounds like an easy get away but there are still complications with it inflamming and your diet. You should research SCD diet and save yourself from getting a SERIOUS surgery. Do your research man, I've had UC for 7 years now and have put myself into remission through diet. Please be careful, everyone with UC or any IBD check it out

  • what is SCD?

  • specific carb diet. Basically limits your carb intake by not allowing the bad bacteria to feed off of carbs. Basically killing them and restoring your guy

  • I totally agree. I had J-pouch surgery 23 years ago. I believe so many people (including myself) do well for the first 5 or so, but am certain small intestine is not meant to hold the waste and bacteria of the colon. Physiological changes have occurred for me slowly over time, significantly increasing my discomfort. I believe this will be the case for all J-pouchers. It is a life saver of a surgery, but I believe a last resort, especially if you are young.

  • @BobdobsBob that's a good way to put it. I have heard of many complications such as pouchitis which is the same thing as colitis but in your j-pouch. I will never opt in for the surgery unless it was an emergency such as cancer or toxic colon. I know everyone is different, but do your research. Look into natural things. Yerba Mate tea has been helping me lately and is helping many others with IBD

  • Hey man I know exactily what you are talking about in this. I was diagnosed with UC when i was 13 and I'v been thinking about getting the j-pouch operation for years now. In my head i'm thinking the same thing what am I waiting for. This really touched me deep man great job keep up the great work and stay healthey

  • thanks man. It means a lot when i can get to others too. This song mean a lot to me man.
