like i said in the merican idol version, he can sing but he has very less variety. his voice tone is always the same. his tone is like the motivational style. it is great, but if he does it all the time, done it will be boring...why cant u sing happy songs in this competition...if david wins, i dont think bcoz of his singing talents but bcoz his sex appeal. sori david. this is my opinion. i know not a lot of you guys like this studio version, but i love it! this is how this song sounded in the movie, just nice and simple yet AMAZING! it is just such a beautiful song. in his performance he was all over the place, and to me it could be a tad bit distracting even though his range was outstanding. i would just like to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE DAVID ARCHuLETA!!! ok, i always liked David's live peformances better than the studio versions lately jst cuz when he;s live he tends to do more runs.

HOWEVER this is my favorite studio version by far! AMAZING! im soo happy, i like it just as much as the live version. His voice is beautiful all the time :)

Even though I'm a huge fan of his, I have to say I'm not that carzy about this studio version. I don't know how to describe this but

I think he played around(twist) melodies bit too much. I felt the same way his other studio versions. I prefer his earlier songs like "Heaven", "waiting on the world to change" and even "shop around". But I can't deny that his voice itself is so original and beautiful.
