silversobe if legalized that wouldnt mean the end to the drug war cause technically the cartels will just extortion the businesses selling them legally like in mexicos tienditas or the way gangs are doing to some weed stores.it will just give cartels more power.also look at the legalization of alcohol it has bad effect on the country cigarettes have killed many and the mafias still exist they just moved to other forms of crime yet still keep to the old.i dont see legalizing as a good solution

silversobe im against legalizing yes economically it might be good on the subject of weed it can be medically good.but socially(especially), politically, even economically it can be bad.you have these substances like coke/meth that are not legalised and look at the problems they already create in its limited supply(well compared to it being legalised and massly produced)these drugs have already destroyed many lives and had a bad influence on the mind and the way a society functions.

@hoowansum Right now, the only ones who are in control of drug distribution is the cartels, gangs, and petty sellers. They will sell it to anyone who is buying, including those who don't know what their getting into. With legal sellers, they can prevent sales to minors and provide clean amounts. These substances are hear to stay. We can't just lock up everyone who uses them. That's insane! The penalty in most cases is worse than the effects of the drug. Only with education can we lower the usage

If you look at who controls a LOT of the production of drugs you'll find the u.s. behind it somewhere. The u.s. produces the drugs then arrests it's customers for having it. So they're making money on both ends. We the people have got to stand up to our government.
