As my friend Bravadaa would say, Portuguese entries are at their best when their main theme is Portugal itself! A beautiful song about feeling closer to your own nation's people when being in faraway places (check out the lyrics if you can - they're great!), this is far and away my favorite entry from that year, and one that definitely ought to have done better.

Yes, I agree, their entry this year was horrible - I mean, they should have learnt from last year's Bosnian song that copying the style of the Swedish entries is a stupid thing to do, since everyone will prefer the real thing; however, their '04 entry wasn't so bad, IMO. 2B were alright in by book (although it's true that they sung horribly), and yes, Rita Guerra was also very good.
