  • @alwaysreason sir I respectfully disagree with you ... If someone breaks in to my house with intent to harm my family it'll be the last thing they ever do ...

  • I just ordered one, thanks for the review.

  • Very informative!! I ordered mine a week ago! Keep up the great work, Jeff!

  • Just ordered one. Thanks!

  • Does the laser show in line in the dark?

  • It does not. It projects a dot, but unless the air is unusually humid with fog, it will not project a line from the weapon to the target.

    Jeff

  • Jeff, thank you for the review of the new rail-mounted CT laser. It'll be nice to try out on some of my pistols for about half the price of the grip version. How is the battery life on this particular unit?

  • I have not used it long enough to check battery life, but the battery is easy to access for replacement.

    Jeff

  • Jeff, thanks for the review, I am looking into this one for my Sig P226 for my night-time work. I appreciate your thoughts in this review...

  • Americans need to relax.

  • @AlwaysReason Explain.

  • @lowsten I love bows and guns and love using them for hunting and target practice and civilian defense exercises. I view thousands of these review videos, especially from competent people. A common theme with guys from US is reference to self defense. If you choose to go that way, it's ok; just remember to remind people that their family will be fine and that they should not shoot anyone in the head.

  • @AlwaysReason Self defense is a big reason but many more people use them for the other reasons you listed as well. It's an all around love of the firearm and the freedom to own said firearm and the history it carries especially in the U.S. The criminals with guns are who we need to be concerned about and not the competent law abiding people who legally own them. As for the last part of your statement the way a threat is dispatched is up to the person in that particular situation.

  • Another great video. There is another reason to have a laser. During a high-stress event, your accuracy will degrade (some say up to 50% from calm targer shooting). Hands shaking and sweating, etc. Why not add some confidence, even if you are a weekend paper targer sniper!

  • Excellent point on using the laser in high stress situations, such as the one

you presented(a family member being held by a perp in front of himself).

Great video !! Thanks from Canada

  • Thanks, eh!

    Jeff

  • Three great products: Ruger SR22, Crimson Trace, Jeff Quinn.

  • Crimson trace they have good customer service

  • That looks like a perfect set up for my mom, who's the sweetest lady but not real strong.

  • Great video with two great products,Ruger and Crimson Trace.

  • Absolutely. Thanks for this video. My friends laugh when we tell them to use a laser. They call us silly in class. On the range especially in low light conditions they find it hard to believe. You hit the target every time, how come? The laser friend. Stay sharp and live long.

  • Can't wait for your announcement on the Ruger S R 30......... LOL J R

  • @jrossi9250 Ya...what is the SR30? I've been checking the Ruger website ever since the shot show vid.

  • @bwtia1 Sr 22 hes messing

  • Great video sir keep up the great work thank you for your opinion on firearms I learn a lot from your videos

  • Great Video Jeff. straight to the point.

  • You remind me of Uncle Jesse. No bullshit, straight forward, call it how you see it kinda guy. I like you and I like your videos. Keep 'em comin'.

  • Thank-you sir for all the videos from the SHOT show. They were very informative and for those of us who can't make it to the show, they are really cool!My wish list grew a little longer and as soon as I save up some more $ after buying a new gunsafe,I will be crossing some things off.For all of us gun enthusiasts down here in Florida, thanks again!

  • Thanks guys

  • My wife is a beginning shooter, this would be great for her until she gets more confident with her shooting...Thanks Jeff

  • Best gun reviewer on youtube. Only fault is he does not post more longer videos!

  • Good shot!!!!! 22 cal rounds to the head!!!!

  • Sometimes I come here just for the music.

  • of course average size, like the size of a glock 23

  • @ThermalSh0ck they do a sr40 or if you want a smaller grip a sr40c

  • dam i wish they made that ruger in a 40. cal or 45.acp.

  • @ThermalSh0ck They do, it's called a SR40c :)

  • @ThermalSh0ck They make the .40 cal (Ruger SR40)

  • @CaptainCrack3r i was seeing that earlier. i never cared for there pistols besides there p series so i didn't know about those models, one thing i don't like is there's not a hammer like the SR22 or p models but, i like the SR40c, gonna look into it more, and i wish it had a grip and more of the Shape of the SR22, but seems ok

  • Thank You for the Great Video's!

    Common Sense aint so Common!

God Bless and God Love You and Yours!!
