@Barbamamman maybe cotons (or other dogs) don't need warm clothes where you come from, but i'm in northern canada, and my coton will stand and shake if she doesn't have boots and a snowsuit on.
this breed is from a hot climate, not to mention that most of an animals 'natural' functions (such as a thick coat) aren't relevant when they've been bred as an indoor dog for generations. just because we feel they shouldn't be cold, doesn't mean they aren't.
I have had a coton for the last 15 years and he's been wonderful! I just love your little guy, so adorable!

how do y'all keep his mouth so clean? My dog gets dirty all around his mouth if I let his hair grow long. This is such a cute don!

Coton´s does not need clothes. I feel sorry for him. It is not natural. It is only for the humans, so that they can have a laugh.

He seems to not mind the jacket at all. Thank goodness it isn't pink with feather fringe. He is a boy after all. Absolutely adorable dog.

Each trick took an average of 1 week. Cotons are resilent dogs and are fast learners. We trained him every single day for about 3-4 months.
ps. He wasnt too fond of the rain slick. We hardly use it anyway. Only during rainy season.
