  • They built the freedom tower I see which is a symbol of those who died from the 9-11 attacks and to show the world we are still strong. NYC is still beautiful no matter what and they will not touch us again. If security was tight back then like it is now today 9-11 would of never happened. We would of still had the twin towers. 9-11 happened because security use to be a joke back then. People use to laugh at security and security was a lack BIG FAILURE. Now today Security is no joke anymore.

  • I think you did a brilliant job with your footage capturing!

  • One day al-qaeda will be judged

  • All Mosques must be destroyed by Uncle Sam. Americans will NEVER worship Allah the Moon-god.

  • add parachutes at the top this time

  • dude if they build new towers, they should like have a fuckin arsenal on the top so no one one fucks with it

  • don't know about naming it 'freedom tower/s' , will never have the same ring as 'world trade center'. Doesn't sound right in New York. Just as well, you better appease the unfortunate souls that they didn't remove from the soil because they were virtually disintegrated (by building a memorial) otherwise you will experience all these poltergeist / paranormal activity after the structures are up.

  • there is just something missing in the skyline

  • omg there gone

  • this music inspires me. damn the fuckign conspiracists. this is a beautiful fucking country. the terrorists want to destroy us. let us unite.

  • it sure would. but don't worry i have faith in the american military to bring down all those who wish harm on america.

  • Manhattan looks so different without the Twin Towers. Forever different. I hate it. This place, which used to be a symbol of the power of America, is now the final resting place of more than 3,000 people. It's awful. Good video, though. What's the music?

  • It's the music score from Star Wars Ep. III

  • Thank you. I recognize it now. I'm a big Star Wars fan. :)

  • Do you know what song it is?

  • Freedom Towers?

You have to be kidding me.

    Your freedoms are gone.

Hittler called for more homeland security just before invading poland.

The world doesnt hate the US, they hate your government.

  • @MadCanada597 ahem...FUCK OFF!

  • @msbritgee The truth stings.

  • @msbritgee Truth stings. Being angry at me for saying it just means its a surprise to you.

Thanks for your well thought out comments tho.

  • Freedom tower sucks!

    Rebuild the twin towers!

  • rebuild the twin towers and add 1 more floor just to piss um off haha. but build them like the empire state building so it can take a plane hit

  • @mikethebassguy All skyscrapers are designed to survive being hit by a plane, WTC towers were not an exception...

  • @shaurz no exo skeloton building can withstand a plane crash. dont come at me with the crap about demolition i don't wanna hear it.

  • so thats whhere the towers used to stand.?

  • Yea...

  • i just got back yesterday from new york and ground zero is a construction site now, it doesnt even look like ground zero...what they have planned will be amazing, the freedom tower plus 3 more towers, plus eternal water falls where they 2 towers used to stand and if you look inside the water there will be all 2,000 names craved inside the waterfall,,,,its going to be amazing!!

  • Freedom tower awaits.

  • damn, i was sure i saw laing/orourkes name in the film lol

  • I went there a couple weeks ago there is a big contruction site

  • is that music from star wars?!?!?!

  • yeh

  • what are they goin to do with the hole where the towers were??

  • New towers + big memorial.

  • Are they going to be like the WTC or completely different?

  • @parrot201 there building new towers.?? or just a memorial

  • ask them to make sure that the freedom tower wont come down at free fall symmetrically because of fire!

  • GO FCUK YOURSELF

  • me and my family r going to NYC on May 22 i always like to see the progress they make on the new tower since i was to small to remember the old ones

  • They're taking forever building it. Completion date was postponed from 2010/11 to 2012/13. Right now there isn't much of a new building to see.

  • What the hell????!!!!

  • @parrot201 now there is. it's like 40 stories high at this point. at least they're finally speeding things up

  • @parrot201 2012 that could be the end D";

  • I am going to NYC this sunday for our band trip and we're marching in the ST patricks day parade. and we're also going here to ground zero. I am scared and extremely excited at the same time

  • Penn & Teller: Bullshit! Ground Zero. Watch it.

  • Both twin towers together compromised the World Trade Center.

  • im from new york its sad to say, i never went inside the twin towers, I saw them when i was around 8 years old, a few blocks away from them with some of my family, i wish i did get a chance to go in them, its a shame.

  • when i was five i went up to the very top of i think was the north tower. shockingly, a few years later it collapsed and even if it were possible to rebuild the towers it would never be the same as the first ones. its kinda said now to kno that theyre building freedom tower in place of twin towers...

  • Very very moving! What was the music used? Whatever it was it matched the images perfectly. As you said..NEVER FORGET! Christ i don't think there's any likelyhood of that. Those poor souls will be eternally remembered.

  • It feels Star Wars-esque, possibly from episode 3.

  • It's called "Anakin's Betrayal" Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

  • That was an awesome video. Wish you would have held the camera still more on the actual Twin Towers spot. I was getting dizzy from all the fast moving. :-)

I was there in 2002 after the attacks. It was such a solemn sad feeling and tourists from all around was visiting. It was sad and amazing at the same time.

  • I can see your point, but still think that buildings of that height are always going to be a terror target and although I don't think it would happen again if they were rebuilt I think they should let the past lie and look to the future.

  • would u work in it if they built a new one??

  • what happens when international foreign policy evils by US government come home to be visited upon people who probably didn't support them in the first place.

A real tragedy of our times.

  • would any1 actually want to work in them again if they rebuilt ? I certainly would'nt, not for all the danger money in the world

  • Damn!!! Cool video!!! I need to go there and pray for some time for the people that die 6 years ago!!! HI... From costa rica!

  • hope so...

  • what are your doing with Ground Zero

  • omg nice video

  • thanks everyone for the comments.

ive been to the WTC a few times before 2001. it was a VERY beautiful place. the lobby, the plaza, windows on the world was great, and the observation deck. it was a really great place and very clean compared to otha parts of NYC.

  • My dad was in the lobby and plaza too, quite sometime before 9/11 and he thought it was very beautiful. So I asked him one day, is there ever an uneasy/haunting feeling, that where you once stood is completely gone. He really didn't care to answer; I think the pain runs too deep. I was wondering how you, parrot201, felt if not the same way my father did? I've never been to NYC; Buffalo is as close as I've gotten in my lifetime. You did very well with the video.

  • It is somewhat uneasy but mostly shocking and upsetting. You're looking at the site of a very beautiful place that you've visited many times. It's shocking when you see how huge this tragedy was. The WTC looked much larger in reality than on the television. So when I look at the pit, I remember what used to be there, and I was there, and this is where thousands of people were murdered. The memories of my experiences there come back, then you see how it is now...and its just shocking.

  • @dynamicwolf I agree with your Dad. I still cannot go down there,

or look up and it' will be 9 yrs in Sept. Be Well! Jeanne

and do try to visit our still beautiful city!

  • wow, great video. I hope to go and see it someday. it really makes me sick that someone could be so selfish and be willing to kill so many people just so that they might be remembered or have more power than aomeone else.

  • great video, going to go someday. And i have to agree with you

  • thanks.
