@MrCnerolf Of course, compared to Him. . .N.T. Wright is positively a dunce. . .having said that. .N.T. Wright's arguments have a masterly edge to them - and I use his logically constructed thoughts when speaking with muslims, agnostics etc. . .( N.T. Wright isnt infallible though. . .I noticed recently he has a rather subjective view regarding the first parts of Genesis. . .no one's perfect! )

What do you mean by subjective? Itshould be interpreted literally, to do so would introduce some rather obvious self contradictions and would undermine the purpose of it being handed down through oral tradition as it was. Also, the universe and planet earth do not fit into a literal interpretation of Genesis. Genesis is also based in a form of communication which is not to be interpreted literally, to interpret it literally would rip it of the richness of its allegory.

@chukmaty It's not impossible you are right but. .'Yahweh' has a habit of making fools out of 'wise' men. .its not impossible He Foreknew in His mind - He knew evolutionists would arise and declare genesis to be a mythic tale. .so He deliberately allowed the words of genesis to be written down as we see them today when. .in reality - when Yahweh returns in the form of Yeshua/Jesus - and all evolutionists are on their knees before Him. .we will all find out genesis was a True story.

What about evolutionists who believe in Christ? Is not a dynamic system of genetic adaptation another way that God's creation attests to his wisdom? When God says "the Ravens call to him," does it not take on new meaning that he has written into them a code of incredible brilliance, that can mutate to survive an ever changing world?
There are portions of the Bible that a intentionally fictional, like the parables, that if taken literally would be greatly diminished.
