Not the first pair where ego killed a duo. Im glad they lasted 19 years. I listened from 93 until the end from Philly. The fact that they fought sometimes made the show better and more real. Everyone knows Mike is an egomaniac and Russo is wrong about a lot of stuff.. But the show for the most part was, for true sports fans, a gift. I got to see them do their thing live at 93 WSeries after the 15-14 debacle. A great show. Sadly, I dont listen as much anymore.

I grew up with Mike and the Mad Dog... after my dad used to listen to them. As a devout Yankees fan, it was hard listening to WFAN... but this show was just awesome. I loved this show and it will be missed dearly! Good luck to both gentlemen on their new endeavours.

It kills me to know that at 1pm on WFAN or the YES Network that their is no more Mike And The Maddog. The one thing in my life that was constant in my life since 2001 when I got introduced to these guys on a trip to NYC, was watching Mike and The Maddog. 7 years, the one constant was Mike and the Maddog. 1-6:30pm was always Mike and The Maddog.

Oh I'm going to miss the friday shows with Maddog. Football Season will never be the same without the Dog and especially the dog as the Marquis.
