  • I WISH I WAS BOBBYS GIRL LOVE THAT MAN

  • i love this music and i respect Bobby for all he has done.. But Dark Star does these songs a

whole lot better in my humble opinion...

  • "Dark Star does these songs a

whole lot better in my humble opinion..." Despite the fact that I enjoy DSO, I dont even know how to begin to respond to that statement, so I will just let it stand in tribute to it's own absurdity. I can only assume that you've never actualy seen the Dead.

  • hi don, that would be a bad aassumption.I

broke my own rule by posting a negative

    comment.

    peace

  • That may very well be the cutest old man I've ever seen. If he weren't so fit, I'd push his wheelchair around. As it stands, he'd have a better chance at pushing MINE around, and I'm 30 years younger than he is. ;-)

  • Thank God for Bobby.

  • I can't wait to see these guys at Wanee this year!

  • Ratdog Rocks!!!

  • what happened to sunshine daydream?

  • Nothing, it's still there, this year's gonna be better than ever.

  • I'm catching ratdog at the landmark on 3/29.

  • i love it!<3

  • It's great to see Bobby out from under that Albatross known as the Grateful Dead which WAS dead about 1972. his song has so much more enegy now. Rock ON Robert!

  • You've got some nerve my friend

  • what an idiot.

  • Oy.

  • Modelt, As absurd as your comment is, I think I can only just sit back and laugh at it. You obviously have been locked in a closet since 1972. Fuck you!

  • modeltmania=dipshit

  • I LOVE this song! God bless Bobby.

  • awesome singer

  • One drummer?! Blasphemy!

  • Keep giving us sugar!

  • im going to a ratdog concert soon. its gonna be fun!!!!

  • I was front row, 3 nights of HEAVEN! what a time we had. I called the Sugar mag but the highlights were the Silvo Tequelia and standing on the Moon. It may have been the first Sil>Teq>Sil...I am not sure. What a time, I am crying remembering it, Jerrys spirit was thick in the air and my B-day was the 4th

  • Happy 60th B-day Bobby!

  • Yes siree this is hip

  • RatDog ROCKS!! They are NOT Grateful Dead, but they still kick ass!! And I admire the lyrics by Robert Hunter and JP Barlow. Keep up!!

  • where's the Sunshine Daydream part?

I have never seen Ratdog (or any of the boys since Jerry left)

do they/did they ever do SSDD?

  • SSDD is the name of the venue in West Virgina.

  • You don't kinow what your missing.. Bobby or Phil and the great thing is how they have evolved the music in their own ways. You can fel Jerry in the air at all these concerts. Thats what noone seems to get, they fight over bobby and phil etc.. It is how it is supposed to be. Jerry was dead long before he died. Just as the rest of the band members are. There is so much to see in hindsight.

  • bobby is an awesome singer but he's gotta lose the salvador dali look ... in the day he wore alligator shirts & looked cool as hell

  • pete, times change. Don't criticize, just enjoy. I liked the izod shorts and cut off jeans as well, but that was along time ago.

  • me thinks Bobby has earned the right to play/sing what he wants when he wants...I much prefer to hear Bob or Phil break out the occasional Jerry tune than to not hear them at all.

  • Nice jammin'! Jerry's spirit lives forever!

  • see this is what I dont mind about Ratdog... bobby doing bobby tunes. but what I dont like is bobby doing a majority of jerry tunes, like he dose. I just saw bobby and 10klf in northern minnesota, i gave it a try but honestly listing to him do the "Dust off those rusty strings" part in stella blue was just painful to listen to.

but hey an opinion is an opinion

  • Jerry's dead, would you rather not hear the songs at all? I'll admit The All Good set was kinda lackluster energy wise, and I understand Bob doing Stella Blue but look at the alternative, not hearing it at all. Or they could get someone who soun ds like Jerry and everyone would bitch about that.

  • to be honest I would rather not here stella at all. when ever i herd bobby about to do a verse in a jerry song, something in the back of my mind kept thinking jerry was gonna come up and sing the verse. but bob just did his loud wisper version. dont get me wrong i love listening to bobby in his prime. to me after brent died. they should have stopped touring.

  • way to talk shit behind an allias pussy!

  • As you can see Bobs just doing his thing and playing the tunes dear to his heart. This is not about judgement; not about living up to Jerry's expectations; this is about the freedom of music. People, dig it and appreciate it for what it is and be grateful that we still this to get down with.... Thanks Bob; keep doing your thing man.

  • AMEN

  • sooo slow...

  • see my post below. Then take a picture of me giving a fuck and mail it to someone who cares!

  • Saw the dog in atlanta 7/7/07. It was smokin'.

The music never stops and Jerry Lives through it; through us. That's all I need.

    Keep truckin'

    Melodicsympatico

  • someone doesn't sound right there...like its too slow.the vocals are amazing though

  • For thosae who dont like this video all I have to say is JERRY'S DEAD GET USED TO IT! HE'S GONE & HE'S NEVER COMMIN BACK! THIS IS RATDOG (at thier finest I might add) NOT THE DEAD! You can post negative comments if you want, but as you can see I wont leav em up ;-)

  • I really dig the sax. Adds a lot of funk to the Ratdog mix. Always wished the Dead made broader use of a horn section on stage. A very different sound, and I'm happy Bobby's really enjoying himself. Get with it folks, Ratdog rocks!

  • just like a willys in 4wd

    love that song

  • i love this song i have heard it many times with ratdog, they play tottaly different than grateful dead, i love it, i was here and plan to see ratdog about 3 more times this summer

  • If that's the show @ Nissan then yes, really.

  • Sweet, I am going to the Ratdog and Allman Brothers concert August 15th.

  • Cool, see ya there, I'll be workin it!

  • Really?

  • wow vocals.

  • cant wait to see ratdog at 10k!!!

  • Bob you need to play that song at least step down dude, you're not hitting the high notes!

  • I love you Bobby!! I can't wait to see you in Cleveland this summer!!!!

  • Cool, I'm going too, see you there! (Theoretically)

  • mmmm i have a ratdog show to go to in 12 days :D i cant wait. its been since november ahh! these guys are amazing R.I.P. jerry<3

    Always grateful, always dead.

  • Just saw Ratdog in Ventura it was a great show.
