  • Make goods and sell goods to make money, who care about what other said. where the sun light can reach we can reach there too, the Chan

  • The fact is that China are very good at reverse engineering, copying...call it what you like. The west may not like it but it makes fantastic economic sense for China. Do you think they care what we think?

  • @NeoLeaver That is seedy way to get started in R&D unfortunately military equipment is not something you can figure out fully by simply reverse engineering like consumer electronics. You need technicians to help you out which PRC cannot get because the US won't give them access to their knowhow and the Russians sell the PRC stuff with strings attached and definately not their latest hardware.

  • @redwhitedude I agree, However the debt issues between USA and PRC may give them some future leverage in that area. Besides that they're also becoming better at filling in the blanks you describe. Worrying when you consider the human rights issues that China has, and it's dependence on foreign resources. Which further fuel the astronomic growth rate of her economy.

  • @NeoLeaver I don't know if debt issue will become future leverage. You cut off the US like that their export market takes a big hit. The world economy would be crippled and their factories would have to shut down because of very little to no demand. The human rights issues in a way is a manifestation of their governance issues such as very little respect for the law and due process to those accused. Governance can also affect economics the current governing structure may do well...

  • @NeoLeaver ... but what about the future. When china begins to move into produce more value added stuff and more knowledge intensive products?? The economy is going to be more sophisticated, people more knowledgeable. I don't think their current governance is going to cut it then.

  • @redwhitedude You make a very good point. Lets hope that 'the people's republic' may actually one day be governed by 'the people'. As a British national who has always valued the 'special relationship' we have with the US more than the sinking ship that is the EU. I hope you're right.

  • @NeoLeaver EU is not really a thinking ship. There are countries that are doing well such as holland and Germany. They are giving crap to the less disciplined members such as greece, italy, and spain who are uncompetitive and should have been more fiscally disciplined as a result. The press is blowing this up. As to PRC-> more knowledge means more education-> means more money which means more affluent educated people having more wealth. More wealth means people want a voice to safe guard it.

  • @redwhitedude If you have time take a look at some of the interelated debt diagrams that have been published to illustate the European debt crisis. Those nations tied into the Euro currency zone are now facing the consequences of treaties designed to exploit the cheaper labour of the poorer members. Its a right old mess' as my grandfather would have said. Hindsight is showing us it was prudent to aviod the common currency aspect of EU membership. The banking/finacial sector is vital to the UK.

  • @NeoLeaver While it is true that some Euro zone members remain prosperous, its all relative. All will have to take a substantial 'hit' to bail out the likes of Portugal and Greece, whose economic woes go beyond their impending financial meltdown. Long term 'propping up' of these nations (including Rep.Ireland) has left their economies entrenched in terribly inefficient practises. Making it almost impossible for them to 'work' their way out of trouble.

  • @NeoLeaver where can I look at the diagrams. I think the best solution is to kick all these countries out of the EU but Merkel is resisting this suggestion while at the sametime demanding the Greeks shape up. You are right in that this common currency has been a drag on Germany.

  • @redwhitedude Just Google 'EU debt interrelation' and go to 'images' there's a five way diagram on there that illustrates the complexity of the problem, without even considering the various commercial banks (with their own vested interest) involved.

  • Just type random shit into microsoft sam, and you won't notice any difference between the video's audio

  • I checked Wikipedia. The technology is from General Electric. It's American technology again.

  • @stephentsang2000 They sponsor hacking into American Defense Websites and copying them and proudly displaying them as their own. It's not the first time, Chinese have done the same thing from the Russians too. Pathetic.

  • @forgottenmemories63 In fact, many American business tycoons are betraying their own country.
