That did work surprisingly well! A few moments of BSG characters with Trek dialog I found jarring...but the general epic feeling of BSG images and the Trek movie sound was very cool! That must have been hard work.

awesome, i still haven't seen the last series of BSG yet :S.. where is the bit from 0:23 from with the old school cylon raider? is that from that one episode which had the old version cylons in them, cause i dont remember this bit.

Incredible, I agree, this is the best trailer mash up. Battlestar Galactica was extremely well filmed, arguably the best show on television for a while at least. Perfect fit: Apollo and Kirk, and Cavil = Nero, this makes me want a Battlestar Galactica movie, but considering how the show ended, that will never happen :(

Awsome video mate, just the timing on everything was superb, especially getting the BSG characters to look like they are saying the words. 5 stars is too low for this!

meh only BSG I like is the old one. They lived in an anthropologically different society a strange feudal system and everything was different. The new one used italian weaponry and american tools. It was just SG1 with different patches.

It also used top of the range storylines and CGI for the battles, making it the number one series on TV while it was aired. The old one was good yeah, but it wasnt up to the standard of the new one, which was more down to earth from the beginning, especially with the characters, being flawed humans, instead of the perfect Appollo from the origional series.

The old one was top of the line for it's time. And CGI tends to lead to laziness in writing and acting. Just look at any Sci Fi channel movie of the week. "Run the CGI that may be a dragon or may be a giant snake spider is gonna get us oh no!" The perfect Appollo in the first one made sense because he was raised in a warrior caste that trains children from infancy. His flaws came from the same source, a naivety of what his society was really about.
