Welcome to a new form of communism, the communism of the lobbies and the wealthiest of all. Corporations and government have merged, goodbye democracy, if ever we had one in europe.
Europe is a strange dream of the "elite", were the average citizen will soon be binded.
*YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, IDA, ISME, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Small Firms Association, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
lol, you dont even know what the lisbon treaty is about! its making us like the USA... to much power to the european parlament which is ruled by ppl who get money from man behind the curtion to make us slaves for them! but hey lets celebrate thet. the politics sed its good so it must be good? isn't it like that you sheep?
haha i think you don't know what the lisbon treaty is about :D:D First of all it's not like in the U.S now whyever you think that secondly the european parlament is voted by the european people so it's democratic. and whos the secret man you're talking about that rules whole europe? your post is just rediclious get a life seriously
Oh really? You live in italy hows that not "lobbies domiance"? it's just the same as the EU. And it'll change nothing with the banks either and "multicultualism" is no crime. Cultures always go lost if you want or not and we have immigration in Europe with or without the EU. We live in new worlds finally wake up and stop throwing around with words you don't understand
Declan ganley, an irish american with deep links to the USA military suddenly returns to Ireland to out spend the major political parties in his support for a no vote. open your eyes, he is being funded by the US government to keep europe weak and divided
NO SIDE: Shinners, Ganley, Socialists, Coir, Eirigi, UKIP, Le Pen, BNP.
YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
Living the life of luxury and all the time looking to become more powerful and wield yet more influence over the 500 milion population of europe nad the rapidly vanishing nation states, these predators lick their lips at the idea.
I would be happy if we would have a referendum here in central europe where the people can vote and decide.
But our corrupt politicans denied us this opportunity by lying to our faces again and again. The only ones who are allowed to vote are the irish voters.
Please vote NO to the Lisbon Constitution. It is not good enough to have a European Constitution that reads like a phone book and that only the Irish citizens get to vote on. Democracy is in the hands of the Irish people. Voting no to Lisbon will not change the economic situation for the better or the worse. This is a tactic being used by the Government and certain media with vested interests in a yes vote to distract from the actual content of the Treaty. Please do not be fooled, vote NO.
The so called Irish government need a yes vote on Lisbon, why? because once Europe has it's treaty it will stop the Roman catholic from being brought to justice in the courts of human rights. This is why it is important to vote 'no' at the next elections. The roman catholic church has been raping, murdering and abusing Irish children for the last 70 years with out being hindered by the so called authorities who were supposed to protect children. They have to be brought to justice.
Resist the "new world order", where the international criminal bankers and their lackeys decide what will be good for you.....(This is from an Irish-American )
The Lisbon Treaty (Article 33,paragraph 6) gives the EU executive the RIGHT (with only two exceptions) to CHANGE or ABOLISH all rules/regulations/laws present in EXISTING treaties relating to..... ECONOMY ;TAX;CIVIL SOCIETY;currency;environment etc.
« This is a dictatorial constitution » (Prof. Schachttschneider, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg).
The people of Ireland have been insulted by the actions of the EU leadership. Our goverment does`nt speak for us and if the EU does`nt take the next NO vote, the people of Ireland will only see the EU as the next big power trying to take our freedom and that never works out well :/
There will be a massive media blanket supporting a 'yes' vote this time commencing close to the voting time, which will confuse the Irish population.
Just watch the maggots in the Irish government step into the media spotlight supporting a 'yes' vote -> they are all corrupt simply because of the FACT that "THE POPULATION OF IRELAND ALREADY VOTED NO" !
Good to you IRELAND,no to the lisbon Treaty, no to a NEW WORLD ORDER as that is next ,and what about chemtrails in our skys everyone should ask whats going on ,are they killing us of very worried ...

The sooner Ireland & UK are politely asked to leave the Union the better for the remaining members. Turkey & Croatia provide better prospects for the future in any event.
Ireland and Britain are not the only countries with a sentiment that the EU is taking the wrong direction. The polls show disaffection all over the EU.
lol, not really sure but at least I do know that the treaty is supposed to open up that option, Greenland left but I think its a whole lot more fuss about it now than itssupposed to be after that.
I think you have lived in the shadow of Germany and France too long, this treaty in it's current form is a disaster for smaller states who are already being bullied into things they do not want. Remember that it was agreed that if this treaty was not ratified by all members it would be scrapped, this is the case and now the bigger states are saying they are changing the rules. Don't be such an "Uncle Tom" to your larger neighbours and show some balls, now that would be better for the Union.
If the aim for the EU is peace and democracy then WHY does the Lisbon Treaty include the instruction that all states (including Ireland) :"shall undertake progressively to improve their military capabilities" ? And as the un-elected Council of Europe´s 25 members will have the last say on Pan-European military options, perhaps they would like to explain to us ex-voters what the option "constructively abstain" means to STATES-that-were-once-countries who want to opt-out of war.

Wow. How condescending can you possibly be?
"...makes it difficult to dismiss the Irish vote as an OUTRIGHT anti-European one."
...this is journalism? Are you freaking kidding me. They want their Independence and their sovereignty - it has nothing to do with being 'for' or 'against' "Europe", which is not a nation!
I fully recognize the diversity of motivations behind the Irish No movement, however I think that anti-EU folks such as myself have had our views fully vindicated by the EU's reaction.
Again, note the condescension, the political bullying, and the refusal to accept the Irish decision.
This is not the behavior of a trade organization. This is the behavior of tyrants, and if Europeans fail to put a stop to it, I foresee the EU becoming a Soviet-style superstate in the near future.
Of course the Franco-German driven EU won't take no for an answer. They didn't when the French and Dutch voted no. Why would the Orwellian 'respect' brigade be any different this time around.
English motherfucker! Fuck off with your parroting of brainwashing slogans and lies. I'd expect a servile attitude to the EU by a Romanian, since you get a free ride off the taxpayers from net-contributor countries.
look at sarkozy's hands kind of weird devil horns then 666 then devil horns then 666 again.

Why all that pressure, hun?!
Why only Ireland had the opportunity to have a REFERENDUM?
This means for me DICTAT of dictators has yet begun, also before the rectification of the Lisbon Treaty.

People voted no for many different reasons, not just for those that nationalistic Europhobes feel are relevant.
