@MrSchweinsteiger11 I work as a pharmaceutical researcher, have a BS in Biology and Biochemistry. the "specs" as you say are 680whp and 640lb/ft. put through the stock 6 speed and rear from a YSi procharged LS3 (16psi) with a LS9 H/C swap, LT's and a custom catback exhaust. Pretty basic. Haven't gotten into the suspension yet but a set of coilovers would definitely help the cornering, but otherwise drives like a normal car.

Paint jobs aren't cheap. A few of those looked to have a good £4-5k of paint on them
Wheels also aren't cheap. A few grand's worth of wheels on some of those.

If you think this stuff is never done to expensive cars, you've never been to a cruise show. I've seen Vipers, Lambos etc. with massive camber, glitter paint jobs, TV's etc.
Just to call you up on your earlier point, none of these cars are worth 'less than 15K USD' That's about £9.5K. That might just about pay for a couple of sets of these wheels.

@MrSchweinsteiger11 I work as a pharmaceutical researcher, have a BS in Biology and Biochemistry. the "specs" as you say are 680whp and 640lb/ft. put through the stock 6 speed and rear from a YSi procharged LS3 (16psi) with a LS9 H/C swap, LT's and a custom catback exhaust. Pretty basic. Haven't gotten into the suspension yet but a set of coilovers would definitely help the cornering, but otherwise drives like a normal car.

@adrianhhtorres what you're looking at are bbs rs splits. they've been chrome plated and the split rim bolts have been replaced with gold coloured ones. these wheels are expensive before the chrome plating and changing of bolts and centre caps..
