  • If you look closely, you will see that this system has it's own compressor, which is part of the HVLP concept. You can have gravity feed HVLP guns that work with conventional compressors, but this system uses it's own dedicated compressor, which results in a minimum of overspray.

  • unprofessional

  • would a 5-10 hp compressor work for these? I want to paint my car... i think it usually needs 40 psi to run these guns.. am not sure, help ppl

  • @187MIAMIBOY if you buy this set up it needs nothing ,,,graco the rolls royce of spray equipment !!!

  • hey question i just baught the 10 Piece HVLP Spray Gun Set/Paint Gun and im new at painting. what would be a compressor to use for this and how much yuo think it would run me??

  • New DIY paint and wallpaper tools:wall shuttle

  • QUESTION!- do they have these in a smaller version and one that you can fit the compressor in a backpack?

  • Though I think the video is fine there is one thing that has me concerned. I do not say this as a novice but have 15 years experience. When you pored in the material you did not use a strainer. Looking at the edge of the can I would never have done that. You may get away with the little bit of *grit* that could have fallen off the edge with a High pressure system but it is asking for trouble with HVLP. Cleanliness is a must to ensure a trouble free job. Always strain. Just my 2 cents.

  • @Trikker2 I've never used HVLP guns. I'm getting a devilbiss kit that doesn't come with the Turbine. Can I spray HVLP with just a air compressor? I only ask because you sound like someone that would know. I build cabinets and want to change from my old devilbiss cup gun to a gravity feed HVLP.

  • @Bcroft39 Yes you can. Most spray guns sold today are HVLP. Just tell your vendor you need a HVLP gun that connects to an air compressor not a turbine

  • @Bcroft39 Just be aware that to spray HVLP you need a really big air compressor. Also be aware that all the ones you see advertised are greatly overstated as well so be cautious of their CFM output rating versus the CFM you need to run your gun. You would be well advised to go bigger with your compressor to be on the safe side. If you are doing just furniture you don't need a body shop commercial quality gun costing 400 bucks.

  • I can't speak for the Graco unit, but Capspray makes a 6-stage unit that sprays interior latex unthinned with virtually no overspray. I use it to paint walls too.

  • I know how to do all that already... why don't you tell us why you should adjust all those settings and how it affects your end result ?

  • Hi what size is the nozzle and if you have water base paint how much water do you add?some people say on 10 L can add 10 % water, Do you really have to add water ?

  • This is a Graco professional demo video.

  • forget spraying latex paints way to thick

  • yeah a real painter would have drops down and a mask on dum azz..

  • High voltage liquid propane, sounds dangerous. You should have used a filter before pouring your paint in the cup.I think I saw a big piece of dried paint slip in off the rim.

  • Great vid.

  • what does hvlp mean?

  • High Volume, Low Presure.

  • Thats some groovy bass playing in the background...

  • Hi, can you tell me what make gun you are using please and where did you get it from? Looks good.
