Big question, why can't I view the latest conversation on the message app. Still need to scroll down to see the unread messages. :(( Unlike in blackberry even if you've started a conversation the latest message will be on the top screen. but wow, nokia is keeping symbian alive after all! and it looks great! it sounded as though they were dumping *everything* and going for a WP7-only approach. beautiful, always loved nokia. hardware and reliability kings. only samsung comes close, i'll be replacing my omnia 7 with a Lumia first chance i get though :D

i have just tested this mobile for our new inventory line and i have to say. its one sleek phone. everything is just smooth as butter on this. i never knew this packed a 1ghz processor.. indeed a very good phone. the only issues i have is the browser. and non-existent youtube app.

i had xperia x10, got replaced with a nokia n8 or could wait for xperia back in stock. the n8 was a good phone to start with then i found out it was crap. slow, laggy, internets well slow. i downloaded opera an still that run slow. i click apps and i end up hitting them twice to open. the cameras good an battery life on nokias. but i wont be buying a nokia again just yet. now ive orderd iphone 4s :D also do nokia produce dual core yet? i dont think so.

nokia (n8) was dropped from a height of 3 m many times, there are only few scratches and still function, but the iphone IV dropped from a height of 30 cm, broken and not working anymore ...... the quality is clearly not commensurate, the choice is in you all..............

ANDROID RIP OFF. Nokia just lost to android in market share. While nokia fell from 40% to 22%, android grew from 17% to 43%. Nokia will be unable to beat android because of its crappy appstore. The OVI store always has connection problems and i never seem to find any good apps. I know this because i have an N8 and a samsung galaxy s (android device).

@Osmankhan786 Hold on a second...google was not even invented when Nokia started making cell phones. So basically ALL cell phones are more or less Nokia ripoffs. You have been well brainwashed by endgadget and other badlymade entertainment sites. There is no science behind those sites, it's all just "I think this and I think that", and in most of the cases the manufacturer who pays biggest money gets the best "results".

@Osmankhan786 First GSM call was made from Finland to Finland using Nokia equipment...know your facts...unless people in usa still use NMT technology (wich would be no surprise) android would not even have anything to run on without Nokia. As you propably can remember, Nokia does not really like ripoffs, so for example Apple pays money to Nokia for every iPhone they sell BECAUSE OF USING TECHNOLOGY OF NOKIA. Motorola will be soon owned by Google and it wont work! Just look to the history... :D

I don't get it. WHY do so many people here think that USA would be "the only world" that uses smart phones and therefor the only RIGHT things are android and ios. That sucks, USA is SMALL and bankrupt country compared to India or China, and there isn't any point making phones only american media likes, 500 million people don't buy as many phones as over 2 billion people do, and those 2 billion still like Symbian, so these phones are for THE WORLD, not for USA.

i still dont get how nokia is on the brink of banktrupcy just cuz their core os is a little slower. best hardware out there, the N8 (used it for 9 months) is a beast, its like having a digital camera, a slower computer and maps on you all the time.

they need to sort the OS speed out though, Belle looks promising.
