Great idea with the double rings, ive got an outdoor performance in a couple of weeks and would like to perform a ring passing routine. Are they hard on your hands or affected in any other negative way? I mean would you use them for indoor work as well?

you have great coordination. You should look into flowersticks. They have a very different feel from the ones you are using. Since you have the desire to experience a variety of manipulations you might enjoy the different techniques available to you with flower sticks. keep it up. You have style.

They grind pretty well actually. Probably a little worse though than normal.

Great job! Great idea about making the rings heavier for performing them! I always ruled out rings because they are so wind sensative and most of my shows are outside anyways.....
