  • I remember Hamm:s beer. It was one of my favorites…..then

Olympia beer bought out Hamm’s beer a long time ago. Soon after, they scraped the Hamm’s recipe and used the Olympia crap beer recipe. The unique Hamm’s beer was lost forever.

  • When was this commercial made?

  • AAAHHHH ..YES ..............those were the days no reality shows.except for the news..which by the way is not reality and if it is for some wake up!!!! Remember the days when you earned your own way...BBBUUURPPPPPPPPPP!!!!! Hey is that Keith Stone over there......

  • hamm's is deliciouse, just make sure its ice cold

  • Got my 30 case of Hamm's for St. Patties. Mmmmmm Hamm's.

  • This sounds like Ray Scott as the announcer. He was a great football announcer in the 60s NFL.His brother Hal was the sports reporter on WCCO tv. Minneapolis for many years.

  • So bears are scared of wolves now?

  • I found two Hamm's cans in a junk pile today from around this era! Woot!!

  • Ahhhhh....could we only go back in time!

  • Yes, a cold Hamms would taste good right now.

  • maybe 1964

  • yes, yes it would sound good.

  • I'm drinking one now! - Love the old commercials!

  • I actually remember this from when I was a little booger.

  • Hamms beer is still around. I'm a prevelent drinker of it. i guess i inherited it from my dad. he always used to joke that i was concieved during a hamms commercial.

  • Hamms Beer, eh?

I bet it tasted pretty good back then. Hell of a commerical though, in all its B and W glory.

    -OA OUT-

  • I used to drink Hamms about 10 years ago because it was about $1.99 per 6 pk. It is pretty decent beer.

  • these commercials from the mid to late 50's were some of the most popular on TV in the area where Hamms was sold. Hamms, and Leo Burnette, the ad agency who came up the campaign, both made a lot of money.

  • Yes, I can see the bigness.

  • Hamm's rocks. But Pabst is the king!

  • a few years ago I went on a quest to try all the beers that were big in my dads era...Shlitz, Pabst, Shaffer, Bud, Miller, Balentine Ale, Naraganset, colt 45, Carlings Black Label.....the only one that I liked was "Miller High Life"

  • lol miller high life is my least fave beer. i actually hate it. but then again that was a good good while ago. and i was forced to drink a shitload of um by myself cause they were in my room and my mom would have killed me if she saw um

  • And then there's Blatz.

  • @inkey2 what about Blatz? Never see it around anymore but loved it way back when in the 70s as a teenager ..
