I remember Hamm:s beer. It was one of my favorites…..then
Olympia beer bought out Hamm’s beer a long time ago. Soon after, they scraped the Hamm’s recipe and used the Olympia crap beer recipe. The unique Hamm’s beer was lost forever.
AAAHHHH ..YES ..............those were the days no reality shows.except for the news..which by the way is not reality and if it is for some wake up!!!! Remember the days when you earned your own way...BBBUUURPPPPPPPPPP!!!!! Hey is that Keith Stone over there......
This sounds like Ray Scott as the announcer. He was a great football announcer in the 60s NFL.His brother Hal was the sports reporter on WCCO tv. Minneapolis for many years.
Hamms beer is still around. I'm a prevelent drinker of it. i guess i inherited it from my dad. he always used to joke that i was concieved during a hamms commercial.
these commercials from the mid to late 50's were some of the most popular on TV in the area where Hamms was sold. Hamms, and Leo Burnette, the ad agency who came up the campaign, both made a lot of money.
a few years ago I went on a quest to try all the beers that were big in my dads era...Shlitz, Pabst, Shaffer, Bud, Miller, Balentine Ale, Naraganset, colt 45, Carlings Black Label.....the only one that I liked was "Miller High Life"
lol miller high life is my least fave beer. i actually hate it. but then again that was a good good while ago. and i was forced to drink a shitload of um by myself cause they were in my room and my mom would have killed me if she saw um

Hamms Beer, eh?
I bet it tasted pretty good back then. Hell of a commerical though, in all its B and W glory.

I used to drink Hamms about 10 years ago because it was about $1.99 per 6 pk. It is pretty decent beer.
