I have the old K6-266 and the Pentium 200

Good collection! I have a collection of these, as well. I ask the local computer repair shop to keep the old ones back for me. I take an x-acto knife and saw the chip panels off. Then look at the chip under a microscope to find the secret pictures the chip builders may have added to the extra space on it. Or their names! Can be a fun hobby. I've heard that since the pins and wires are pure gold, some have sold them for the gold but I think it takes a lot of work to prepare it to sell.

i have always used those old sim & dimm chips as key chains i slip it behind my belt so i dont have to carry my keys in my pocket and when the hole on the chip gets worn out i grab a new chip from my draw i got tons of them

small collection u got there , mine is about over 200 pieces , from 8088 , and all x86 arhitecture CPU's and co-processors till i last added a AMD 64 3000 + , i only have 2 Power PC CPU's .

My grandfather had an entire old soviet computer, with about 1x1 foot pcb cards, some were ferrite core memories, others simply were filled completely with regular transistors... and he decided to get scrap gold from it, and got like 2 grams only :S

i still have tons of this stuff. i have at least a dozen 386 & 486 cpu with there mother board and enough memmory to fill the slot 2 or 3 times over. i even have a 286 that i still use.

Wow. I noticed the Intel 486DX2 cpu and the various RAM. Do you have any RAM in the display from a MAC. I am not sure if I had noticed. You had plenty of SIMMs with nine chips which are of the PC I believe.

Nice Mul endal on Mingi 15 Ram Mälu Mingi 16, 32, 252vist megaseid ja 512megaseid pulke Kapis siis 6 emaplaati ja 8-9 CPU'd ;) suht crazy värk :D ahjaa videkoaarte on kah koos helikaaartidega mingi 7-8 ringis ;D kõige parem videokaart oli vist nende hulgast geforce 4200vm siis oli Geforce 3 ja 4 ja möned ATI Omad kah...

Kui ma oleks kõik emaplaadid mille pealt ma prosed olen võtnud (286-ed ja 386-ed on kadunud) siis saaks umbes mingi 40 plaati kokku ;) Graafikakaarte leidub mul aga ainult 2 - ma pole kõige vanemaid alles hoidnud (neid, kus GPU pole eristatav, on vaid hunnik skeeme).

Mul endal 2x286,386 ja 486 ka olemas. Mingid vanad Pentium I ja II on ka. Nii 500-1200mhz jne. Kokku umbes 10-15tk. Vanu 32mb ja 64mb ram'e on ka paar tükki.
