What a storm!! My pool is black from flying dust. It will take a long time to clean up the yard and pool. At least we got some rain out of this storm. The trees and grass really needed that. The mud will eventually get cleaned up. No serious damage at my place.

@dutchsinse It's hush hush because it's not a big deal since it's a seasonal occurrence. In the days I had my pilot's license I took off from Scottsdale airport one summer day, climbing north toward McDowell Mountains. Once I passed over the mountain range I was met with a wall of rolling dust at 4,000+ feet AGL. That was enough for me to abruptly abort my flight plan and return to the airport. It wasn't until 5 minutes after touching down the high winds and thick dust blanketed the apt.

There is dust IN my house even though all my windows and doors are closed. All of a sudden as I type on my laptop, I noticed the keys felt extremely dusty. Be careful and cover you mouth and nose, even when you are inside.
